Why does it seem like MDMA keeps my IBS under control?

Ok so it sounds a bit strange and you could say it's all in my head but this is something I noticed randomly, it's not like I pop so I won't poop lol

It just seems like whenever I take some, my stomach doesn't make any noise whatsoever and it feels perfectly fine!

So I'm wondering what could be causing this? Because I would take it everyday if that weren't dangerous!

Well offsets of serotonin in the brain can cause offsets of serotonin in the stomach, which is where 90% of your body's serotonin is located.


So, it's certainly possible. Although you'd be lucky because for most it's the other way around.

The gut is full of serotonin receptors, which someone mentioned above. For me, MDMA causes intense diarrhea at the onset...I've also known people who puke for 4 hours after dosing. It's really a crap shoot (pun intended).

There's an article about daily MDMA usage for chronic pain. Maybe it just relaxes you - maybe your just to high to notice
