This is something I've always wondered. This question is what motivated me to join this website because I have no idea where else to ask.

Back when I was experimenting with crack I smoked way too much. If it was good stuff it would have killed me.

When I came down, apart from facing anxiety and depression so severe I decided to never touch the stuff again, I couldn't turn my head and breathing naturally and swallowing hurt. I'm just interested in what causes this.

I also want to know could I have damaged myself? I know it's lucky my heart didn't bust. I smoked like 300$ worth crack within 2 hours. Is it possible I damaged my heart? I was stupid and didn't know how to smoke, I just knew I felt better than I imagined possible and I wanted to feel even better.

cocaine increases blood pressure & causes blood vessels to constrict

it could have caused heart damage but if you are walking tand talking today you're probably no worse for wear

Ive only done crack a few times, wasnt impressed. But what ive seen from other ppl is its just a part of the crash. You'll prolly b alright.

Ps, if you want your mouth to go numb just go tell a dentist you got a toothache n get a rx for liquid lidocaine. Its much cheaper.

^just me bein a smartass, the only thing i noticed when i smoked crack was my mouth went numb.

It's happened to me but when you consider the action = You're sort of tipping your head back for the initial hit. (repeated neck movement)
Holding it in (stress in the chest area) Again and again, after you're done you will likely feel a bit sore. Good thing you don't want to do any more!

It happens with every ROA though, not just smoking. It's from the drugs effects on your body itself.
