Why does Christian religion hate sex?

There is a Lacanian term called "Jouissance" excess pleasure. Anything in excess is bad. So instead of "because sex is too much fun" it should be "because too much fun is sex". The things we do for fun is a pleasure principle. The point is to question the things we do for the golden chalice/pleasure/etc.

Where would a lot of sex become too much sex.. when would the positive become the negative?

Most religions try and get a handle on sexual activity.
Perhaps they are trying to tap into that sexual energy.
Tantra is the only religious practice that is frank about this.
I'm sure that anthropologists have a lot to say about this.
But as far as I'm concerned I'll just have the sex and hold the religion thanks very much.

Things come about because of reward? Or reward comes about because of things? Looking at it one way, the point of sex is procreation. And because we fulfill this mechanism of "life", we are rewarded. That's looking at it one way. Another way is that we live for the reward. Now, if we just fuck aimlessly, fathering many children and we want nothing to do with the mothers and women mothering too many to give attention to and support, is that really very rewarding?

Condoms don't do it for me. They're fake. Its not even "sex". Not fully. Its basically dry fucking. Not to say I don't use them. Always.

People confuse "God" as some totalitarian ruler, made up, some "parent", in the sky, who is trying to keep a brutha down and enslaved, or restricting "fun". God is the law of things that are good. God is the law that makes things good. Religions try to interpret it, and often, like the pendulums swing, overshoot the mark, but if you pay attention, you might just see what they are trying to say. Where it circles.

Then again, I'm not too sure about any religion. They're all some other guys (guy's/guys') interpretation(s). I need to go over it, myself.

Well said What 23!

Wait, what made you think of "enag[ing] in a BUNCH of homosexual ORGIES and contract HIV"? I mean I get that you could be sensitive to homosexual stereotypes (although somehow I doubt you looked up the statistics) but why did you jump into having a bunch of orgies? Why is that your go-to fantasy for explaining a point? You see sometimes when you suppress something for so long it just comes out as vulgarity.

Regards, little BIG Pecker.

Lol, that was probably a bad example. My bad Shrooms.... We good???

I'll only forgive you if you join me in a giant homosexual orgy. My forgiveness comes with strings --er I mean anal beads.
