Why does a crushed 20mg Adderall XR not feel like 20mg Adderall IR

When dealing with XR, meds especially ones where the binder is a waxy substance, the binders tend to make the drug non water soluble and the binders would just plug your nose an sinus cavities thus making the bio-availability of the drug extremely low.

the BA remains the same, the amount of active drug absorbed is hindered. just being pedantic.

Well from the dose you're on now...that's a jump in 25mg/day...more than doubling it...from your old dose...that's a jump of 15mg/day...which is 1.5 times that dose
If anything...he'd prolly switch you back to your old regimen. Why did he bump you down anyway?
 
Am I the only person who seems to be able to crush the beads up and snort them effectively?

I also get generic amphetamine salts, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I've got a hungry nose.
 
I've never had adderall...but I would probably be able to do so...I like to snort my shit on a molecular level lol...get it down to granules...If I have to use a DL or student ID, I will chop and chop and chop even if it takes 15 minutes lol...I don't like clumps and I REALLY don't like chunks and rocks...they're sharp and painful lol...
 
i never once mentioned snorting adderall, it is a waste and the BA sucks with all the inerts. i take it orally, i cursh the XR in fine powder, and as i said it hits me quicker and harder then Adderall IR, but the problem for me is that XR(crushed into fine powder making it IR) doesnt last as long as adderall IR

im pretty good and accurate with the XR preparation for turning it into IR, i dump beads in a Cigarette Cellophane wrapper, and use the end of a lighter and push hard in different angles aganst the beads until i see some flatness of beads, i dump that out the wrapper, and use the side of a lighter to smear it and make the powder very very fine, so i dont lose any beads when i turn them into IR

it was my choice

my last bump up was from 10mg XR to 20mg XR 10mg IR (triple)

so i dont think 15x3 is a problem

also, 20hardly works anyway, why do you think i crushed the XR lol
 
I was recently switched from the IR to XR (at my request), so I thought I would try crushing the tiny balls & swallowing the powder. I've done everything in my power to crush these evil things, they are indestructable. If I spent 30mins crushing each tiny ball 3 or 4 at a time, then maybe, but I don't have that kind of time.
 
aerie, they shouldn't be too hard to crush down. Fold them in some paper, then go apeshit on them with something flat and hard. A rolling pin, full soda can, glass bottles etc. work great if you just put some decent weight on and roll over them.
 
I've got one. It has little 'teeth' thingies on each end & the spansule beads fall into the spaces in between & don't get crushed. :! I'll try my luck with a different one.

What's with all the fancy pill crushers? Folded up paper, a knife, and a mug always worked perfectly for me.
 
^ this! Hit it hard with a lighter then roll a wine bottle over it, classy, haha.. although not living in the US I haven't come across the Adderall spansules so I don't know if this would work. If it works for waxy DHC XR, however, I suspect it works for most things..
 
with a fancy pill crusher, you turn it and turn it and turn in, then you hear it make contact with the pill, turn it a little more than you hear crack, crack, crack, and it's in powder form already...just gotta go in and break up the caked up powder...and maybe bust a few little pieces up...pill crusher=less than 5 seconds to do all this lol...
 
Oh, please. Next you'll tell me that I need a specialised piece of equipment to peel a banana :p
