Why do you use drugs?

I actually started smoking weed when my parent's split. Pretty much smoked it to chill out, get away from the drama's etc etc.

Ecstasy came into the scene when i went over a mate's house and there were like 6 people in the lounge room gurning there tits off :D, so i decided to try one the next weekend while out clubbing.

Didn't try acid until i started reading up on it here on Bluelight. Scored some Pink Panther tab's and fell in love with psychedelics. Had done mushroom's year's and year's ago, but managed to score some around the same time i got the tab's so they were next on the menu :)

Parent's were anti-drug, but once they split, they were pretty cool about me smoking weed. They don't no about the other substances tho, so yea :) Don't regret doing anything either.

Haha, it usually ends up like that.. more or less same situation with me and people i knew from my high-school days. Everyone wakes up sooner or later.
 
To begin with, as a teenager, probably the mystique attached to drugs due to their illegality.

As I got older I began using ecstasy to lower social anxiety when I went out. That has now been replaced with amphetamines because... well, you know.
 
i use drugs and alcohol a moderate amount because i like the way they make me feel. i'll stop doing drugs as soon as they stop being awesome
 
Because of alot of curosity.

Plus to change my lifestyle. At least for the time of using.

E.g. stimulants to make me motivated, more happy and full of energy.
As a child lots of coffee and now lots of coffee and from time to time some stims.
 
i use the because im a bum well im not but i m, i own property that i inherited and have no modivation at all to do nothing so instead for the last 7 years i just went about finding the dyna puff!!!! but hey im a personal trainer and i just cant be fked! plus i hate the cops there dogs
 
The reasons I use drugs have changed over the years..

First I smoked pot cause it was what you did in highschool when all your mates were stoners..
Then I tried ecstacy,and I love it.. But didn't touch it again for years after that..
After my first experience with MDMA I somehow ended up using heroin, and I escaped reality for a good couple of years ended with a pattern of abuse and addiciton.

2 years after I found heroin, I found hard dance.. And rediscovered MDMA.

I took MDMA to feel good.. When MDMA dried up, I turned to speed and Acid..

I took speed to try and get me through the weekends where I would party hard..
I then took speed to try and feel anything at all...

Now I take acid to try and break my brain, and understand myself.

The reasons why we use drugs change over time.. And at this point in time I'm over drugs using me.
 
I use drugs for escapism and expanding my mind mostly

While I am unmotivated to do most things when something is drug-related I could spend hours making and researching things like a cracker or a bong and like someone said before I love the experiance of trying new things and also music is very important to me so being able to feel it better is also a great experiance.

i use drugs cause i like to party/rave/club and in saying that i dont like going out drinking alcohol all night, why??

* cause it costs a shit load more than any substance(prior to tolerance)
* it founds the government, which i hate there policy
* it makes me feel better than alcoholl ever could when out
* i stay awake
* i have stronger mental alertness over someone been drinking and wants to fight me, ill beat them in a fight
* people clubbing/raving/dancing are much more friendly when on drugs

the list goes on, anyways thats my choice thats coming from someone that touches mdxx(when exists) and meth
 
^^Buying anything legitimately is funding our government and buying drugs is funding other drug users/addicts, criminal organizations or governments in other countries.

The mark up on most drugs is much higher than the mark up on alcohol, that's for sure.

You should be a lover and not a fighter mistee :)
 
Even a lot of money from drug purchases goes to our Government when you think about it. Dealers are spending some of the money they make and there are not many ways for them to either spend or launder their money without being taxed at all.
