As the title says, or asks, why do you itch on opiates? it messes with the histamine part of your brain?
and is it the same for opioids, do they itch too?

Opiates release histamine. Anti histamines help deal with it. Some opiates are worse than others i.e oxy and codeine make you itch more than dhydrocodeine.

So i take it it's the same with meth then yeah? 'cause i seen pictures of meth addicts and documentaries say they itch 'till they get all bloody and shit
but meth itch must be much worse than opiate itch, right?

i know it's not, that's why i said meth itch and opiate itch haha

yeah yeah i guess haha

Formication is an element of the psychosis associated with stimulant abuse, whereas histamine release is, as stated above, a side-effect of opiates.
