I hate how easily 90% of people seem to automatically think "If you do drugs, it's because you're very unhappy about your life / there's something fundamentally wrong at the root of all this / you have many unresolved issues you need to take care of / any other psychology bullshit." I mean, damn, it's like some people can't understand you can be (relatively, in my case) happy about your life, yet still do drugs.
I mean, honestly, the main reason I do drugs is just because they make me feel good, better than any state of consciousness you can achieve sober. I've heard so many times shit like "It's sad you can't achieve that level of happiness without drugs." (fuck, I just heard it today when someone told me they would never take MDMA because they can feel just as happy without any chemical assistance or some shit like that).
I don't do drugs to "escape" from any problems in my life, I don't do drugs because I am depressed or unhappy, I just do drugs because they make me feel damn good.
Better than almost anything I could ever feel while sober.
