Hate to complain but I made my first post today. It was about getting help on pharms not working well. I posted the thread, and about an hour later it was already closed. It only had 2 views, which were me and the mod that closed it. I mean the whole point of putting it on the internet is to get feedback from more then 1 person. That's why its the called World Wide Web. Like I could have asked anyone in my neighborhood to get the answer. "We can't know for sure what's going on here". That's the whole idea. For all we know if a couple more people had a chance to post their experiences with solutions they tried, my problem may have been solved. I mean no disrespect to that mod, I just think that defeated the whole purpous of the internet. so if anyone has tips I would appreciate it if you pm'd me or something. Thread is titled pills don't work well for me. In homeless. Ty

Hey fleetwood89,

If you check out the OD Guidelines in my signature you'll see that the way to deal with your thread getting closed is to PM the mod who closed it. In your case that was dokomo who is a really nice guy and will definitely give you further explanation as to why he closed it and even reopen it if you can show him that it does have merit.

I can certainly understand your frustration but OD has a very specific focus and your topic fell outside of that. The question was too broad, relied on speculation, didn't have harm reduction value and wasn't relevant to a large cross section of the community. These are some of our litmus tests for what threads do or do not belong in OD.

On top of all this, we have experience here which gives us a pretty good understanding of what topics do and do not generate discussion that is beneficial to both the user and the community.

If you feel that I'm wrong here, please PM myself or any of the other OD staff to discuss this and I'll give you the opportunity to explain why you think it should be reopened. This is the proper way to address these issues and OFTEN results in us reopening threads (and often moving them to somewhere more suitable).

Hey there,

As I said in my response, you're free to PM me if you have questions about why your thread was closed. Your question only has speculative answers, but I answered it as best I could and then explained why it was being closed. Again, benzodiazepines are known to increase sedation but decrease euphoria with opioids. Its also possible that due to your own physiology and metabolism, you just don't get much enjoyment out of them. The thread was closed because it does not fit the Other Drugs Guidelines--specifically, its a basic question about dosage and effects.

Feel free to make another thread in Basic Drug Discussion, but there are no guarantees that it will stay open there either, since its purely speculative.

As far as ways to potentiate opioids, there are MANY threads available that cover this topic. Several are listed in the Other Drugs Directory, and many more are available via search.

Did you read the BLUA, the OD forum standards, or the OD guidelines and policies before posting in Other Drugs?

Bluelight isn't the entire internet, therefore it can be assumed, and is true, that Bluelight's purpose is separate from the entire internet's purpose.

Phrase your question to be about the dose ("How much of drug X should I take, based on Y factors?"); This is the format we require for asking for advice on taking drugs. Where your post went wrong is that it is open ended, meaning that the advice you are seeking is not specific to any drug or set of circumstances. What we are preventing is questions like, "How do I get high?", or "What should I take to get high?", as these questions are not harm reduction. You must remember that harm reduction is BL's purpose!

Welcome to BL... I hope you find what you are looking for here.

I feel I should mention that this may be partially my fault... it was originally posted in Homeless and I moved it to OD :| I'm really bad with drug threads but thought that one would be ok. Sorry guys :o
