Why do some stimulant users have weird jaw movements and clenching?

Last weekend Iwas given some moist pink crystal stuff. I don't know what it was but I noticed my jaw moving weird..like sideways, then clenching..I was clenching and I didn't even know it. Then all of a sudden a huge 'crack' in the right side of my jaw.
Can anyone tell me what happened to my jaw. Now my jaw slides sideways sometimes when I talk. I might go see an orthodontist but I just want to understand WTH happened.

It's called bruxism. It's a common side effect from stimulants. It's quite annoying and painful at times.
