Why do some people insist on snorting their coke off a plate?

hmmm this is a vary interesting debate. i prefer to do it off a mirror, and i agree with brainrape. there is that split-second where you look at yourself putting a foriegn object up your nose, and you have this connection like, hey this will hurt like a *&$^& but it will be worth it right? i dunno, i have to agree with the others, the mirror/credit card/bill combination is just cool. it's classy. i figure hey if i'm going to do something like that, do it with class. if you take away the class, it just becomes to habitual and barbaric. like i have to get this line up there as fast as possible. just enjoy it, take your time, have some fun with it. that's my two cents.

coke snorting? is that a new sport or something?
i guess it would just be cause you see your own face when snorting the coke, and since coke was a drug for the rich, beautiful & famous not so long ago, they liked looking at their own faces, just to give them that extra ego-boost before the big snort

Like someone else said, we all have our own little peccadillos and rituals when it comes to drug consumption. For instance, I will only consume when the time ends in a '0' or a '5', thus making me more likely to remember when I did it - which is of little importance except for G. And I absolutely refuse to use $1 bills (I think it disrespects the drug to use something so common). Silly, I know.
If this guy's getting to do coke that someone else paid for, what surface it's done off of is really none of his concern. Has he never heard the expression, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth"?
