Why do some dealers rip people off?

Im posting this in the ecstasy section because it is most common with this particular drug.

I dont see what the advantage is to a dealer to rip people off. Its not just dealers either, its legal companies too. I once bought a bag of chips only to find out it was filled 1/8th of the way up.

I fail to see the economic advantage to this. They are trying to make money by selling a product. if they fuck with the product, and dont give people what they ask for. people will simply not buy from them again and they will talk about how they were ripped off from so and so , or so and so company. So i dont see the advantage. The immediate profit is greater, but the long term profit is much less than if they did not rip off.

If someone sells pipes or something that is clearly not mdma, people will simply never buy from that person ever again. People will talk and nobody will buy from them anymore once enough people find out. I can see why pipes will be sold , because the demand of mdma exceeds the supply, but i cant see why anyone would actually do it if its just going to harm their reputation and they wont be able to make a permanent business of this because all their customers will be one time only.

one time,I bought a E pill from his weed dealer(at the time-- I never r bought from him after this), the E pill provided slight stimulation but was clearly a dud. I got really pissed and never bought weed or anything from him again, which resulted in a loss of probably hundreds of dollars of potential profit in the future.

i truly think mdma is one of the worst drugs to rip people off for. Because I really did not like it when he was expecting to have one of the happiest times in his life, then to be let down. a bit like how someone would feel if they had to suddenly cancel a vacation the day of.

Because you don't have good enough connects. I've never had one bad bit of MDMA ever. Sometimes it gets sold a 0.7g but your sacrificng weight for quality which I'm good with.

I've had bet ket off people before but never bought it from that guy again. Good dealers aren't stupid, they know they need to sell good stuff to get repeat customers. Your dealer just isn't very good.

Also, we dont allow SWIM here, I will edit your post for you. It offers you absolutely no legal protection and everybody knows its you.
 
I've always thought the same as you. Hook people up and give them what they want and they'll surely come back for more. It never made sense to me to rip people off because then they won't come back.

With ecstasy from my experience its different though. People have no idea what the fuck they're selling. They don't test, they just go by what the last guy that sold it to them said. It's ignorance when it comes to people selling drugs from my experience. Now there's always people knowingly ripping people off, but they're just assholes
 
And what you've got to remember is that your business is probably very little to them.

He shouldn't be selling duds regardless and it annoys me that think its easier selling rip off MDMA when the real thing is so easy to get. We don't really have this problem in the UK because MDMA is everywhere.

I think selling underweight if the product is top notch is acceptable though. Nobody does 3.5g eigths or gram grams unless it shit stuff.

In the long run, for most users its at there best interests.

An actual half gram of mdma thats pure and not cut down is a hell of a lot to take in one night.

However, when responsible users have gone to the trouble of purchasing test kits, and are spacing there dosing, when they buy a gram they expect to have a gram.

I've never had MDMA proper weight, it's just not the done thing for dealers really.
 
Because people don't think long term, and want to make as much cash all at once. So fuck over one person generate a large profit and they are safe. Stupid logic, but it is what people run on.
 
To be fair drug dealers aren't the brightest people, they're more impulsive than most people.
 
it all comes down to money in the end but in the case of the casual user...they get ripped off because their dealer got ripped off. If your dealer bought 1000 pills, he is out X anout of money for those pills. even if he knows they are bunk it is bad business for him to just toss them. so he is going to sell them to recoup his money. no dealer that spent multiple 100s of dolars on a stock pile of a substance is going to say "shit...they are bunk. better flush em." they are going to get their money back somehow and the easiest way is to sell the bunk stuff and hope for better results the next time.

Keep in mind that most dealers don't know what is in there product and are selling to a customer base that largely is uneducated about the durgs they are buying. the vast majority of the transactions are impersonal where the buyer and seller may never meet again and if they do...they won't remeber each other anyway.

it all adds up to people getting burnt. the only way to curb it is for you, the comsumer, to do everything you can to prevent yourself from getting burnt. if you don't test, if you don't do your research, if you don't have a good relationship with your supplier....you are going to get burnt

Good point here.

A lot of the time dealers aren't even educated about what they're selling. Sometimes, they have no idea that what they're selling is boof. Which is really sad lol.

But as most said, it's basically all about the moola.
 
tbh though im happy to know that most people in here from my side of the world are getting underweights, as i notice yous in US mention yous get sold 'doses' and 'points' but here in uk its halves usually.

half g in one night is too much
