Okay when I got my script it was 30 5 mg so I have either tooted or opened up the capsules and drank the powder. Anyways I am tripping. The ambien just made me hella depressed. I like this cause it has a euphoric zing to it. Is there anyone here that can say the same things about this drug. I'm really new to it and enjoy it a lot.

It's the gas mileage, and yet it's a roomy car with all that trunk space.

Seriously, they're different classes of drugs. Zaleplon is a pyrazolopyrimidine and zolpidem is an imidazopyridine. They're vaguely similar, but that doesn't mean much in terms of subjective effects. They're mostly lumped together because of what they're not-- non-benzodiazepine sedatives. It doesn't strike me as that weird that you'd have a different subjective experience from two different types of drugs, even though they're broadly similar. It's no more shocking than people having a different reaction to tramadol than they do to darvocet.
