why do I crave meth when ever I drink on benzos?

So every time I'm drinking beer and take xanax or sometimes klonopin I will pop 3-4mg and once they kick in I'm always trying to get high on ice it is the best high to me and I always end up staying awake for the next 2 days snorting meth and poppin benzos doing things that get me in trouble. But when sober I'm alright not doing any ice

Inhibitions. Benzos and Booze lower this. Thus causing "loose" thinking about getting more fucked up. Having done meth in the past and being on 2 downers, a euphoric stim would be great right now! Out comes the meth, up the nose it goes!

I'm the same with cocaine. Except I limit myself to that one line.

Lowered inhibitions definitly causes this. Same thing happens to me, except its not always meth but when i drink and take benzos I crave hard for coke/crack/meth or pretty much any stim. In response to potatoman, props to you for being able to keep it to just that one line. I can't do that ever, even if im not on benzos!
