Why do bodybuilders seek out GHB, GBL?

Well I can also add that I am living proof of tolerance as well. I don't even use regularily. never did.Used to use semi-regularily for sleep/recovery (from exercise) enhancement. Used to knock me into a deep sleep. Then suddenly it seemed to stop working. I couldn't get to sleep and when I did it was like a stage 2 sleep were you get up feeling like shit in the AM. Did some last night for the first time in about a year and the same thing, couldn't sleep for hours and woke up feeling like shit after I eventually did. Funny thing is it still makes me impaired but the coma inducing properties seem to be gone, for me at least. This is using same potentcy (roughly) and same or increased dose. Started 4ml=coma. Now I have done as much as 9ml without coma.

GHB causes a spike in HGH (Human Growth Hormone) levels, while at the same time spikes Prolactin lvls. Theoretically speaking, the prolactin would counter many of the positive benefits of the HGH released, one could always take a prolactin inhibitor such as Bromocriptine. I know a friend who used GHB in conjunction with bromocriptine and received no noticeable muscular or strength gains. In my opinion GHB is useless in terms of its hormone raising abilities, its just not enough to benefit from.

On the flip side however, when I am on a steroid cycle, GHB is truly at its most usefulness. Steroids make it hard to sleep, some nights it can be near impossible to sleep. Using GHB at night really makes you get a good sleep while on the sauce. This sleep will of course assist in the repair of muscle cells, which is GHB's only 'beneficial' use in the bodybuilding world. I wouldnt use it while not on juice, Its just too expensive for such little benefit.

The reason for this is simple. After your body metabloizes this and puts it through oxidation it is turned into succinic acid...after this your body metablizes it through what is called the krebs cycle or citric acid cycle to produce ATP, this is Adenosine Tri-Phosphate, which is the fuel for all skeletal muscles, this is also what Creatine does, creates ATP.
 
I also used it for sleep assistance while cycling. The "sleep" only lasts for about 4 hours whereafter you wake right up. This usually meant 2 doses/night for me. I didn't notice an appreciable muscle gain either and it stopped working for sleep for me. It does give a sort of buzz though and seems to have aprodisiac (sp?) effects as well on me.
 
Alcohol is a bigger problem in date raping girls IMO...
This is is a very ignorant opinion. As a user myself I understand why you might have resentment towards people that are anti drug and such. G has the potential to be used as a key tool in many rape cases. When mixed with alcohol(withought girl knowing) has nothing to do with a girls' stupidity.
People need to know the facts-why do these rapes happen?
To prevent cases that involve G, people need to be properly informed.
