Why did you Join BL?

I found BL through a friend of mine (ScrambledOnEggs). I had been surfing Erowid and Lyceaum etc for a few years, and he finally pointed me to this. I basically lurked here for about a year, mainly reading the AusDD, but eventually felt the need to contribute so I joined up last year.

Like a lot of u I spent a lot of time on Erowid and Pilltreports checking shit out.
I saw the a link (on pillreports I think) and clicked away.
At first I wasn't really sure about it and then I saw some thing about "students for sensible drug policy" and freaked out.
I thought it must have been some God-freak anti-drug website and CLOSED, CLOSED, CLOSED.
Anyway,
some how I got dragged back and started checking out posts a little more.
Eventually I decided to sign up.
And now Bluelight has consumed me...
I am no longer a functioning human being but a rather a host off which bluelight feeds.
This parasite has comsumed me.... SAVE YOURSELVES!!!

I was actually asked this just the other night, synchronicity is a funny thing...

Anywho, I found bluelight through pillreports...I joined bluelight because for the first time in my life I'd found people I felt I could relate to...the amount of good that this community has done for me since then I can't describe enough.

I love yez all :)
 
Same here. . .I clicked the link on pillreports waaaaay back in the day after being an avid fan and bulk substance consumer. . .

That was nearly 3 years ago now, and nearly all of my posts were in DD. I still remember fondly of my post about the pink domes in perth and how they were the best pill ever! *sighs*

I was out of the loop for a while until I met some BLer's at Kabuki 3.0 in Melbourne last year, who did nothing but make me and my friend Claire feel so welcome which was sooo good, coz we knew no one (thanks to those peeps! :D). . .

Then again I relied on it back early in the year and managed to find some people to kick it with at Two Tribes, as I had just moved back here and knew nobody in the scene, so once again BL to the rescue. . .

And now, whilst having pretty much no use for either the DD forum or Pillreports anymore, I just love coming here to basically chew the fat with like-minded people who I know a couple of and being sure that most are decent people in real life with a common interest. . .

I love you BL. . .and your peeps. . .

I joined here thru a stoner that I used to moderate other cannabis related forums which I no longer moderate, as he was asking me fuckloads of questions about growing peyotes, saliva, and many other plants and he told me about this site and gave me a link and been here ever since.....

I orginally joined up here to learn more about the poisons from the MDMA that I was consuming and realised a lot of things and learnt a lot of stuff here.

Also from there, meet few cool and nice and decent people for once at raves, etc.....

Now.... its all history......... even I only joined up eariler this year.

Keep up with great job all moderators.

Back in high school (1999 and 2000) I had a few friends such as **AJ** and fat tony who used to post on Bluelight and talk about it alot, and I remember I used to think how weird it was that some of my friends had email addresses that ended in .bluelight.ru.........

And I remember thinking where the FUCK does .nu come from? So I cured my curiosity by opening www.bluelight.ru inthe beginning of 2001 (I used to be known as Killa Python and before then I was **wHiTeBoY**)...I must have well over 1,500 posts by now goddamit)

And the rest is history. Every single one of my close friends now is a Bluelighter I think.

And every week I meet a new Bluelighter who really makes an amazing impression on me - you are one of them Raz!

Over the years I have introduced probably 50 new people to Bluelight and they all love it :)

so far, neither of those has eventuated :\ on the upside, i have made some wonderful friends, and found that special other here =D
 
i was told about pillreports by a bluelighter after i first started taking pills and didn't venture into the forum for a few months i think (at this stage wasnt really into message boards) and found the lounge first and then bl social and then started browsing all the other sections....haven't been to pillreports for a good 6 mths if not more i think :p
 
It shows how bad my memory has got over the past few years as I can't even remember why I joined or how I even came across this site. I think I may have found it through pillreports but who knows :)
 
i found it through pillreports..... i wanted to learn more about the shit i was putting into my body and i have.....
at first i thought that only the AANZDD forum existed but then i worked out how to use the site and heeere i am!!!

That's a great little quote that closely fits my story too...

A mate told me about it when we first started taking E, and so I wanted to know more about what was happening to me, what could happen to me, etc. I first looked around the drug forums, then got interested in social parts of it and the music/dj's forum....

I love the place really because of all the different personalities etc....all the funny people, all the smart ones and the ones who are real friendly (which is most everyone)....I've found everyone to be very passionate about this community which is why it is so popular and successful....if you compare these forums to similar ones at inthemix.com.au, I think you'll find these a lot friendlier, more informative about most topics, not just drugs, and faster loading!!! =D

I joined for the info + stayed for the community....ahh BL :)
