why can't i search bl?

ok i know this probably sounds dumb but i have been trying to use the search engine and every time i either get no results or i just end up
at the same page i was on. am i missing something totally obvious? i know there must be at least one previous thread on these search
topics. i don't want to post new threads regarding my questions if it's already been discussed but i guess i'm too dense to figure out how to
search. please enlighten me. thanks....

The search bar in the middle of the page does not work for me. There is a search bar at the top of the page. That one works.

The search bar at the top/middle of the page does not work for me either, but I'm assuming it's because I have blocked Google from setting cookies on my computer--Isn't the search provided by Google?

Google search bar isn't working for me either.

However, OP, if this is not what you're talking about... when you select advanced search from the top-right of screen, the search feature defaults to the "Search Multiple Content Types" tab.

This feature sometimes gives unexpected results.

If you're simply wanting to search the forums, click the "Search Single Content Type" tab, and go from there.

^ aye, that took me a minute to figure out too. defaulting to the usual "single content type" page would be much better.
