Hey BL's, I want to know and also see who agrees with me here. Why can we not have a section about vendors or vendor talk.

I mean make the post count over 100 or something to be eligible to be able to contribute so we avoid spammers.

I have recently been into RCs, and have come to a crossroads. I realise that NOT talking about vendors is actually the opposite of harm reduction. are we not a harm reduction site?

I mean I am not sure which vendor to trust, I am not sure if one will send me poison, if one is a money scammer etc. So by not letting me find out, this is infact encouraging harm.

Anyone agree with me here?

It can be called sourcing, but it is in the name of harm reduction and they are presumably legal in said countries. They are not part of the known illegal drugs that the world is fighting against. So the sourcing is not like drug dealing on the street in this instance.

I guess because it could cause legal trouble for the hosters. Also any help to acquire drugs it is far from HR in my opinion and there are other websites purely dedicated for that.

And despite the legal status of many RCs, for example in Germany they fall under the AMG, a law that prohibits the selling of such substances for human consumption. And the standard lable on baggys saying the opposite won't help you in court at all.
Just a few reasons.

There's a place called 'safe or scam' (google it) - you can go there and check out the dedicated member consensus on vendors. Put simply: if bluelight allowed vendor discussion, it would quickly descend into a shady marketplace. Not pretty, as I've seen from other forums.

I personally disagree with the idea that openly discussing RC vendors is in any way harm reduction. I don't know if you've watched the whole RC scene unfold over the 10+ years, and realized that large publicity, forums openly discussing vendors/products, and even discussion of some novel/unresearch compounds has lead to countless problems that are now becoming as main stream as the classic illicit drugs that have been circulating over the years. Now, I don't have an issue with discussing chemicals, as long as it stays within an appropriate format (like no BS slang like benzo fury, NRG-X, etc.), as that can and has saved lives. However the spread of the grey market that is internet purchased RCs, which even the average joe on the street has some idea about it, particularly in the last 4-6 years has done unfortunately enough harm with in such a short number of years that more pushes into making the RC scene essentially completely public would be a disaster. A bigger disaster than what is already coming to light.

quite simply bluelight isn't here to assist you in buying drugs, it's mission is harm reduction. saying that, it (we) can assist in warning of potential lethal batches of drugs being sold but to help advertise, for free, what vendors are selling is the total opposite of bluelight's mission.

it would ruin bluelight's reputation.

There absolutely no sourcing. Sourcing is looking to buy something legal or not. You can post about harm reduction supplies.

It protects BL, the members and the venders. Plus Law Enforcement Agencies patrol this site. It is not a good idea.

1) NO SOURCES
This is extremely important. We do not allow posts discussing sources for ANY substance, legal or illegal. We also don’t allow links to most drug paraphernalia. The only exceptions to this rule are harm reduction supplies, like bacteriostatic water, micron filters, etc.

2) NO DRUG PRICES
Do not post threads asking about the price or availability of drugs. Do not list prices of any drugs anywhere in threads. Formerly we had an annual price thread where anyone could list drug prices for their location however this has been closed and NO DRUG PRICES are allowed anywhere. The only prices allowed are for harm reduction materials.

3) NO DRUG SCRIPTS OR AMOUNTS
Unless it is directly applicable to the subject (for example tapering down tolerance), do not mention how much you are scripted or how much of a drug you have. Bragging or complaining about these details is counterproductive to discussion.

4) DO NOT INCRIMINATE YOURSELF
You can talk about smack you HAD, or stuff like that, but it's best if you avoid saying "I have this awesome smack, I bought a half ounce." Also, DO NOT come here looking to buy or sell drugs. You will be banned immediately.

If sourcing was allowed it would break other rules as well.

You can post questions like this I believe in support. But check their forum guide lines and also use the search engine. I am almost positive this question has been asked many times before.

I'm closing this thread. It also breaks other Forum Rules.

If you would like to discuss this further or just read about why we don't allow vendor discussion, here is the thread for it.
