I've had a previous benzo addiction two years ago. I was doing 8mg of Alprazolam a day and cold turkey'd it. It was the worst experience of my life, it was actually pretty traumatizing but it only took a week to get over the worst of it. And now I find my self back on them!!
Benzo withdrawal pisses all over opioid withdrawal let me tell ye!
I've got 25 2mg Clonazepam tabs left and I'm gonna let my self go into withdrawal and see how bad it is this time.
If I do cold turkey my meds might make it easier for me and drag me through it, im currently prescribed:
Oxycodone 120mg daily.
Pregabalin 100mg daily (i can up the dose on this as I dont normally take it everyday)
Quetiapine 150mg nightly
Mirtazapine 15mg nightly
At least I've got some seizure protection from the Pregabalin and the Antipsychotic Quetiapine might stop me from going mad lol. And the Oxy might manage some of the anxiety.
