Why are Psychedelics Targeted/feared?

psychs are targeted and feared becasue some individuals totally abuse them.

There is such thing as too much of a good thing and I have to say the majority of people that experiment with drugs dont know where to draw the line.

If everyone were required to actually become informed on how each drug that they choose to experiment with actually works and the safe administration of them then they would be less dangerous.

Id have to say that the vast majority of people that take psychs do not know how they work, what they are taking, how much to take, and dont care. This is dangerous. ( thanks to bluelight for educating)

If things were done more responsibally then the government could stay out of our buisness... There are so many people that are just so stupid and I like to say narcotized to what the government is doing. I hate where our society is heading and that is a different story. They are taking away all of our civil liberties and the majority of the population is doing nothing about it.
 
^ thats true too definitely. after salvia had been in the US market for a while some kid commited suicide like 3 days after a salvia trip, and wrote about it on his computer or his suicide note or something. but made NO MENTION that the salvia trip had ANYTHING to do with his death. it got salvia illegalized in delaware and sparked some national talk on the subject.

even shows like Tosh.O show salvia clips, or fake Daniel Tosh smoking salvia. and with all those RIDICULOUS video on youtube, its no wonder people think Salvia is some sort of crazy delieriant/hallucinogen with no mind-opening abilities at all. im not trying to single out salvia, its just a drug im familiar with in its history.

some people can, and do screw it up for others unfortunately. however thats not the ONLY reason psychs are targeted
 
There is a problem in this country, you can see it everywhere. We have more or less lost any sort of religion(REAL RELIGION) and this loss has been replaced by the idolatrous faith: Consumerism/Materialism. Psychedelic drugs (from my experience and opinion) work against this, they allow one to live free of the constant need of needing things. I think they do this by giving oneself those quick and acute feelings of problems/anxiety then resolution/relief. To me its like you bottle a weeks(not sure if its a week but some time frame, it doesn't really matter) worth of anxiety and relief then boom you got 6-12 hours to sort it out. Thus giving people a relatively easy way to view life's everyday functions and problems without all the associated needs and handicaps(such as tv, comfort food, opiates, benzo's, maybe even social rewards and many others)
If anything Psychedelic drugs are greatly insightful and the fact that there illegal shows how adverse to change/understanding our society really is.
