Why am I not loosing weight? :(

^Go outside and run, or cycle. Both are (in my opinion) the best way to lose weight very quickly. If you are cycling, pop it in a medium gear and concentrate on pedal cadence, I can give you more info if you want. If you are a gym rat, try a spinning class, nothing will burn fat like a hardcore spinning session. You are gaining muscle, which is good. Lean muscle helps burn fat, just concentrate more on intense, longer-lasting cardio. Oh yeah, and replace the pasta you currently eat with whole wheat pasta! Cheers...:)

I hate running with a passion and I can't ride a bike to save my life. I do a fair amount of walking and sometimes will bike ride for 30 minutes a week or so. I might start getting on the tredmill more often even though I hate it.

Thanks for everyones advice though.

It doesn't have to be running (although I have seen the most dramatic results with it) -- just lots of high intensity cardio and avoiding big meals and esp carbs at night will do alot for you, without a doubt.

I have been doing high intensity cardio atleast 5 times a week.

If anyone knows what Body Attack is you would know how hard it is and how much you sweat. Its the highest intensity cardio you can ever do much more than running.

Fairnymph....

She is losing fat, just not weight because she is building muscle (which weighs more than fat). That is why her dimensions are getting smaller but the scale is getting bigger!

So anyways, lady if you dont want to gain muscle, dont do muscle building activities. I can guaruntee your full body workouts are building muscle that you dont seem to want to have! So stop! Stick to running.

Im not doing any body building. I do one weight class to basically just build up my flabby arms but the rest of the week I do only cardio.

Well....Smart-e. I dont knwow hat to tell you, if you are getting smaller, but gaining weight, you are building muscle. That is it. If you dont like that, then stop.

Maybye you could give us a run-down of the body-attack thing? I am curious as to what it entails....

Have faith in your plan, and stick to it.
I was 285lbs when I was about 16 and I lost about 60 lbs over the course of a year or so. I didnt see results at ALL at first. I just stuck to it because working out and eating well made me feel good. Then people started commenting that I was looking good, and I noticed that I was dropping pounds. It takes a little while for your body to get into fat-burning mode.

Look at this less of "I need to lose X amount of weight by this time" and more of treating yourself better and getting healthier. Trust me, good results will follow.

This gives you a slight indication of what body attack is. But its basically a class that grads pieces from every sport and throws them into one routine, Definately check it out. Its hard as in it will make you very exausted but its a great workout. All the classes I do are from Les Mills. Shes fanastic IMO.
That looks like a really good program, thanks for the info!
