You are a bluelighter.

What does it matter much anyway? Don't we post because we want to, instead of doing it for the status only?

I know that when I have made the effort to post fifty times, the more in-depth discussions of which can contain words counted in the hundreds, I'd be a bit pissed if I didn't get the acknowledgement promised.
Ofcourse we answer because we want to, who would go to so much effort just to get a word placed next to their name? The reason I look forward to having "bluelighter" appear next to my name is because it will make me feel that I have built up more than just a casual relationship with this site by the time it happens. It's a great way for Bluelight's members to recognise eachother's support for and dedication to this site.
If it was of no importance it would be eliminated, I'm sure.:\

^ I believe the main reason for greenlighters status is so that the private messaging system can't be abused to solicit drug and send spam by new members.

ipeterg123, we have a whole sub forum for site related questions like this called SUPPORT; http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=111

The answer to all your questions are pretty much all here on our servers. Read the Greenlighters guide, there is a link in my signature. Probably wouldn't hurt to read the Support FAQ, the general FAQ (link at the top of ever page) , the Bluelight User Agreement (There is a link to the BLUA at the bottom of each page) Aaaaaaaaaand... learn how to use the advanced search engine, the link is located in the drop down box at the top of each page under search.

I'm going to close this seen as you have an Intro thread already. Welcome to Bluelight :)
