all these guys are just amazing. of course, they've all done their respective bad films, but they're (generally) of a consistently high standard, and can play some pretty diverse roles...bogart and edward g. robinson are two of my faves from 'back in the day' too...

^^^ it's just the parts he takes (well, probably more what he's offered, but still) - yep, he's a fantastic actor, but he's had few roles where he's actually in the spotlight. he was fantastic in reservoir dogs and ghost world though, and it just proves that he's flexible too - there's nothing worse than an actor who just keeps on taking the same role...

anyway, i always seem to have trouble picking out my favourite actresses (i guess i'm just a typical stupid male ), but i just thought of juliette lewis. she's been *great* in everything that i've ever seen her do, and i really love the way she acts. so there's one, at least. more to come later
