all these guys are just amazing. of course, they've all done their respective bad films, but they're (generally) of a consistently high standard, and can play some pretty diverse roles...bogart and edward g. robinson are two of my faves from 'back in the day' too...

Alot of these have been said but they are my favorites by far. I think Johnny Depp is the most diverse actor out of all of them, I've seem him play MANY completely different parts and he always does a damn good job.
