Who's your favorite "Fucked Up", "Stoned Out" "Totally Wasted" songwriter?

^ i was interpereting this thread as "a-normal" instead of "on drugs." the original post never really states anything about such constraints. thats just me tho, im quite certain that it was implied. :)

Gotta be either Kurt Cobain or Bradley Nowell.

How can you put Layne Stayley over Kurt Cobain? Cobain wrote nearly all of Nirvana's songs and played guitar. Stayley shared the song writing with jerry cantrell and was nly a singer.
I like Alice in Chains but theres no way there better than nirvana

Though I think I know more about Buckethead than a lot of people I'm not 100% positive on the legitimacy of your claim. I posted the question on BH's bucketboard. We'll see if I get any responses.

I also think AIC were far better than Nirvana. Soundgarden were too.

Yeah, he was so fucked up, stoned out and totally wasted on caffeine and nicotine, I don't even know how he found time to write all those songs.

i've been to alot of shows and phil tops the list of fucked up band members that i've seen perform live.

i know the sound guy at the club where superjoint ritual played a few years ago.

apparently, according to the sound guy, phil was on-

1. methadone
2. either xanax or valium (can't remember which)
3. soma
4. weed
5. lots of beer

phil was so wasted he would forget which song they had just played and he would announce it as the next song. his band mates had to keep correcting him.

he was completely wasted.

i saw Ratt in concert a very long time ago. they were very drunk. they kept forgetting which city they were in. the lead singer kept yelling "HELLO CINCINNATI", the problem was the where at least 100 miles away from Cincinnati. the drunken bass player kept hitting his bass strings on the mic stand causing some kind of horrible feedback. it was really bad.

Pig, the one time lead singer of KMFDM, was really wasted at a show in chicago. he had a 10 lb. tank of nitrous that he was huffing the hell out of. he just stood there all zombified out while the band played on. at one point he grabbed a bottle of jack danials and chugged maybe a 1/2 pint of it and then poured about 1/2 of the rest of the bottle all over his head & face. he appeared to be pretty messed up.
