Who's a famous bag head then?... I start with Martin Pellow, livin in a world.....

Sherlock Holmes -

Sherlock Holmes took his bottle from the corner of the mantel-piece and his hypodermic syringe from its neat morocco case. With his long, white, nervous fingers he adjusted the delicate needle, and rolled back his left shirt-cuff. For some little time his eyes rested thoughtfully upon the sinewy forearm and wrist all dotted and scarred with innumerable puncture-marks. Finally he thrust the sharp point home, pressed down the tiny piston, and sank back into the velvet-lined arm-chair with a long sigh of satisfaction.

Nothing grows on you so much, if you're white, as the Black Smoke. A yellow man is made different. Opium doesn't tell on him scarcely at all; but white and black suffer a good deal. Of course, there are some people that the Smoke doesn't touch any more than tobacco would at first. They just doze a bit, as one would fall asleep naturally, and next morning they are almost fit for work. Now, I was one of that sort when I began, but I've been at it for five years pretty steadily, and its different now.

This threads meant to be famous smack users right? I thought Kerry Katona and John "you know you want it" Leslie were coke heads. Correct me if i'm wrong.

In that case i nominate FRANK BOUGH [boff]. The most unlikely person to have ever used drugs. Take a bow Frank Bough. [is he still alive?]

Why does Kerry Katona have no pet dogs?

Because she is a cat owner. HA!!!

Well I was predictably beaten to most of the choice names. Haven't read the whole thread but here's my offering, Lawrence (no surname) of Felt and later Denim.

He was never really famous which makes it all the more bittersweet. He came close a few times, ended up doing bizarre things like writing songs for Shampoo. There's a film about him which has been in the works for ages but is yet to come out. Check this article for a glimpse into his world a few years back.

Apparently he's on the mend and things are looking up for him. Still desperate to be a pop star though, even at his age. If the film ever comes out it'll be worth seeing even if you have no interest in his work whatsoever.

Oh, and if somebody beat me to this then I give up.
