don't mind PB, he is a regular hater of all teams since his ATL Falcons and GA Dawgs can't cut the mustard ;)

and I didn't mean that as derogatory calling you my side-kick, my bruvva. it's just that we got a lot of Steelers fans here and they usually rep the Steelers with knowledge and respect. you kinda came off strong as an uneducated homer, so that's why people attacked you on the spot. but I got your back, homie ;)

and although I am from C-bus, I am a life-long Stillers fan due to my dad hailing from the Burgh. plus I go there a lot due to me being in a traveling East Coast rock n roll band

I know you ain't mean that shit derogatory that's why I was sayin it had me crackin up, like laughin cuz that shit was funny. As far as the uneducated homer, you know how it is when ya teams about to bring home the 7th shit get outta control even on the net haha but nah it's all good.

That's whats up tho about you comin around this way tho and ya pops bein from here, one of my boys I grew up with lives on the south side of Columbus now and he pretty much only comes home for home games, he's like fuck christmas and all that but Steelers playin at home he'll drive here for that.

lil wayne has come down strongly in favor of a GB victory.

Good things it's just lil wayne or somebody might actually fuckin care haha. But nah I don't even like the boy Wiz Khalifa that much but he's from right across the bridge in Hazelwood so I support 'em but when we win on Sunday that Black & Yellow is about to make him a couple fuckin million.

nice man. I'm kinda salty that my Pops passed away right before the Stillers won their first recent SB with Big Ben. like the season before. he was the biggest black and gold fan in Ohio

even my kitty bleeds black & yellow ;)

that's a real kewl story bro, but there's this Young Blood rapper from the Burgh with the name of Wiz Khalifa that I saw last year at SXSW who has thrice the skills of this Lil Wayne chump

Wiz > Wayne

have you heard this one new single, black and yellow?

and while we're at it, at this level of grimey hood that me and my boy Bricks and Stacks knows about - Snoop Dogg has been a Steeler-backer since forever

let's face it

Snoop > Wiz > Wayne

snoop_dogg_hard_lifestyle_chrome_football_9.24.07-005_L.jpg

and also while we're at it, talking about influential black people (it is Black History month), let's all remember President Obama saying that when he grew up in Hawaii as a kid int he 70s, since Hawaii had no football team, he supported the black & gold

one could say that Obama has stronger and longer ties to da Stillers than the Bears

lol, see Stax n Brix, dude is coming at us with some simpleton Lil Wayne shit like it's bigger than the Pittsburgh Steelers

Sorry to hear about ya pops my man, to bad he couldn't of seen how his team is rockin it these days, rapin' the whole league haha. But I'm sure he got to see his fair share of glory days.

That cat is funny as hell, def looks like it bleeds black and gold. I'd chill and smoke a L with it.

That shit T-Pain got on his face fuckin ruins that video but it def goes hard "So much black & yellow you would think that I'm from Pittsburgh" Snoop is a o.g. and he def been rockin Steelers shit since he been rappin. As far as Obama, I read this on the news today...

President Barack Obama is hinting on Pennsylvania soil that he might root for Pittsburgh's beloved Steelers when they meet Green Bay Sunday in the Super Bowl.

Obama told a crowd that "I've got some love for the Steelers."

Dude bleeds black & gold too. No question. Like you said he's been down since he was a young buck.

You damn near got me typin Stillers now, it's bad enough I say it when I talk haha.

^ oh, like that one hasn't been done before

cute... that was very... cute

go back to your steroids, or heroin, or chess... or whatever it is that you do and that I hold back on making fun of ;)

I think I read it on the Pittsburgh Post Gazette website but this site had it to.

You might be a little biased. ;) I don't particularly care for Wiz, or most of the other new crop of rappers who are coming up now (cudi comes to mind, too). Wayne is a sports nut, so I'd expect him to have an opinion about it. He's repped his home team plenty, so I take this to be his official endorsement about which team impresses him more.

Actually I was so pissed off (haha) he wrote the song I looked it up after I posted that and turns out he's been a Packers fan for at least a couple years. I didn't know he wrote a blog for ESPN, I never had heard about it til last night. Here's a quote.

As a Packer fan, it's been pretty good so far. Aaron Rodgers has been wonderful, man. He's handled everything, and way more than just the football part. Of course it helps the Jets aren't doing nothing.

I got to say I'm shocked he's a genuine Packers fan, originally I thought the same thing, maybe he just liked them better then the Steelers, but that's from 2008.

Here that goes...

you're crazy for not digging on Wiz (Pitt) or Kid Cudi (Cle). this newest batch of mainstream rappers are SO much more bearable than what we have had to put up with as Top 40 rap lately... need I remind you about that Southern Crunk horse shit?

I know hip-hop ain't your most favorite genre, and when I listen to Wiz's "black and yellow" without my Black & Gold colored headphones... I can understand how the song could be a little annoying for those not keen on the Steelers... but Wiz has a catalog of some great mainstream hip-hop. he's a young gun (22?, 23?) who will only enhance his styles over-time. his mixtapes pre-popularity have been superb, and when I caught him at SXSW it was a great set (most live sets for rappers are snoozey)

Wayne is a sports nut...

Wayne for sure is a sports nut! I remember reading a feature article on him in the Rolling Stone and it was saying how he had like 4 TVs on in every room during football season with a different game on and was betting furiously on each and every one of them

Wayne's version just seems like a desparate, copy cat-esque, follow-up

Wayne's version is just as garish as the clashing of GB's green and yellow color scheme ;)

I think I A) listen to more hip hop than you and B) rank it higher than you do among my favorite kinds of music. I swear-- the lengths you'll go to win the most insignificant tangent to an argument that'll be settled on sunday, anyway. 8(

I'm getting pretty tired of it, actually. Isn't it clear to you that I don't come to this thread to shit all over you-- that's generally the indicator that its inappropriate to shit all over me in response.

woah man, I def did not want to start a War of Shit, or to have a pissing contest

I just like fucking bullshitting and arguing and going back and forth. you know this about me, hell everybody on BL must have gathered this at some point. I apoligize from the deepest depths of my heart if I have maddened you...

it's just... shit, man! it's the Super Bowl week! you know how the media is crawling up the asses of all the players of GB and Pittsburgh. the media asks the most absurd and pointless questions (I think I saw Clay Matthews get asked what his favorite smell was?). so my point is, it is not so crazy to have an argument about rappers tied to this SB, lol

I didn't mean to be aggressive or come off strong or piss you or anybody off in any way. I'm just repping my team; but really not trying to come off in an uneducated/homer manner (though it is difficult for us passionate fans to check our bias at the door when entering ;)). sometimes I can be brash, I know this. and I apoligize again man

<3

ps - hip-hop/rap is my favorite genre of music. when I was a young skate-punk in my region growing up, one listened to two types of music (rap and punk). so A Tribe Called Quest and Bad Religion were the tapes that rocked my deck non-stop

shiiit, Bone Thugs N Harmony is my fave musical group of all-time. in fact, when I listened to them growing up, they were the main musical act that inspired me to play drums (I wanted to play some of their fresh-ass beats as a kid). but you're right, this is semantics, and I guess according to you it is completely inappropriate to even discuss such random things :\

We are just about reloading right about now......

Tyler > check all magazines !

Confirmed.

Tyler > I want full Auto on All of Those Fuckers !

There's irony in the name you have to admit.......

Tyler > indeed...... there is no salvation from Bluelight who don't give a shit.
