That's ok yet man, they're at 10%. At least the left progress... In France the equivalent is the RN (fka FN), they got to the second tour of presidential elections. Now they're fucked because of Zemmour, a jew descendant controvertial far-right royalist, writer/TV-asshole with crazy skills of rhetoric who snatch all the RN votes, that shit is madly delightfull :D It gives more chance to the far-left to pass, better than nothing

While it's true they're only at 10%, ten years ago, they were so small that their result would go into the bin titled "Andere"(others)
The party is moving dangerously fast, most of this power they got since 2016, when the asylant crisis began.

I love the people movements in France, especially Southern France. You guys have balls
I wish we'd have taken more lessons from the French revolution. Ppl actively get outraged about political decisions in France, now that's what I call democracy.
Lots of occupied regions & houses in the South, French ppl are awesome.
 
They seem like a bunch of reactionary creeps with more than a whiff of nostalgia for "the good ol' days", like hey maybe we should take another look at that Hitler guy huh, he did good things too y'know!

Placating capital and private industry, that's what their economic agenda seems to be (like a typical European liberal party), but they "spice it up" with some nationalism and anti-immigrant and/or Islamophobic rhetoric. They kind of got lumped in with "populist" phenomena (i.e. Trump's election and Brexit in 2016, the growth of Le Pen's party in France and Vox in Spain, etc) so that's how I know about them, that was kind of their portrayal in the American media (so I won't be surprised if it's totally wrong or off-base lol). From what I can tell, they're bigots who suck up to private power/capital. Some of the people associated with the party seem pretty shady...more Golden Dawn than National Front. That's always the tension within such political groups, wearing suits and talking like a typical (albeit "edgy") politician while at the same time associating yourself with unseemly far-right activists who probably love a good hate crime

Those are just my impressions from across the ocean though...
 
No way, I hate this bully guy. The only thing you can watch on German tv is stromberg and tatortreiniger.

Thanks for that mate, I've always wanted to know what that line meant. Sounds loads better in German than it does in English, that's for certain.
