Who likes going to the pub on gear?

I didn't like having a drink if I had had some gear as I found that alcohol took something away from my enjoyment of the gear I'd taken.

Then you're probably drinking too much? When the balance is right it's bliss though. Just a couple of cans would do me!

Yeah. Usually the combo just makes me feel sick...and in any case I don't really like socialising on gear, I'd rather just hang around with my music or something.

It's a very heavy, sickening feeling when you're not used to it, but it doesn't affect me in that way anymore. I've grown to like it! Gear generally makes me feel very sociable but it can be difficult when it takes me 10 minutes to string a sentence together 8)

Also I've heard that if you use gear before drinking rather than drink and then use, it is less dangerous?

As long as you're not IVing then you're more likely to puke yer guts up either way before you can do any harm.

But if you ARE using needles, then definitely do yer gear BEFORE drinking, as doing a dig whilst pissed up can have devastating consequences...

Yeh, ultimately you are correct. Drinking on top of gear really can ruin the 'heroin experience'. But it all depends on yer tolerance levels to both drugs - if you like gear & like a drink, then the combination can be quite good, but YMMV etc. etc.

Ah, soz Brimz, I thought you were just on about the fact it can wreck yer gouch... But as I said earlier, as long as yer not IVing yer gear then the risk of death is pretty minimal - you're more likely to puke yer guts up before you can do any actual damage.

But obviously, as far as harm reduction is concerned, then you're spot on - JUST DON'T DO IT! OK?

In all seriousness though the initial hit is kind of stimulating to me. A little bit like when whizz first kicks in. Heroin can be very stimulating to a point, so yes, at times you would like to go to the pub as you have the whole " Yeah lets go out some place" vibe. But on the whole I only use H after stimulant sessions, so that usually means we are all cowering on the sofa in someone else's place with little desire to go to the pub..:D

i like going to the pub on it, but i drink so slowly (say a pint og guiness in 2 hours)and people would suss; if im not on gear im always the biggest drinker. hard to do but fun
