..do you like going to the pub on gear? - Just a few lines mind not nodding off territory. I quite enjoy it makes me more relaxed and somehow more sociable, but take too much and people know what's going on

Any thoughts?

Meee. A few lines in the loos if I have some left over. Gear + drink = perfect combo, also a recipe for death.

I don't know if it's the perfect combo, when u have really nice gear the drink can kind of wreck it!!... but a couple of drinks after a few lines I agree is a lovely combo! Both in moderation though! %)

I didn't like having a drink if I had had some gear as I found that alcohol took something away from my enjoyment of the gear I'd taken.

Yeah that's what I meant in my last reply but sometimes I do like it..anyway I've had some lines and I'm out to the pub now for maximum 4 drinks (hopefully someone throws a couple of lines of coke my way it's always a bonus :p)

far too many people want to bring you down if you're clealry feeling better/enjoying yourself more than them.

that's one of the reaons that pubs and drugs arent an easy mix for me these days, especially the the fuckinn rough yobbo scallie pubs.

I try to stay a million miles way from places like that but my drinking partner really likes doing his 'social butterfly' things

i cant really be doing with that, im me, basically whoever im with, wherever i am, though i may go so far as to try to alter my manners one way or another if its really neccesary

I have a strong memory of Noel Gallagher shaking his head at me while I was trying to order drinks under the influence of K one night at the Queens pub. I was either doing it right or probably should have turned down that last bump. :\

I think it was probably the t-shirt you were wearing ;p

lawdy, off to bed. I can't take any more cringe this evening.

post a picture of you in a limited edition onesie. it's gonna happen one day so you may as well get it over and done with.

I
Never liked it. Gear and alcohol don't go together. It just sits in the stomach and makes me feel unwell. Pubs are for socialising and to me heroin is a very unsocial activity.

I've never been big on pubs, when I drank it was almost always at home, even now I have the opportunity meet up with people at a local on Thursday but rarely go.

I don't drink these days so it holds even less interest but I never feel comfortable in that kind of environment although I recent went to a music night with the same crowd ( I'd done a bit of speed) and had a great time ...love to dance a bit.

Apart form MST pain killers which I've been on for a while now I'm not an opiate user, either way I think it depends on the crowd, the whole boozed up and looking for trouble thing has never appealed. Booze never made me aggressive, even at he best part of a bottle of whiskey a night + Benzos, if I do a CWE on my cocos or take a bigger dose of MST a I have no desire to drink

Pub & Gear .

Nah Never .

Gear & Alcohol you know how i feel about that OPaiterock don't you , especially drunk people in my Flat .;)

I know Brimz mate - I did apologise for that but I had been drinking for 3 full days at that stage! - so quite exceptional circumstances that day. I apologise again mate :)..., in this thread I meant heading for a small amount of drinks after gettin stoned up on a little gear and how people felt about it

Yeah. Usually the combo just makes me feel sick...and in any case I don't really like socialising on gear, I'd rather just hang around with my music or something.

nah your all right mate just don't do it again .:)

It's a strange one this... Personally, before I got a 'proper' habit, I used to love going out to the pub with me mates smacked up - but I found that a couple of pints just made me want more gear.

We also liked going to the local 'rave' club smacked up, where we danced with all the E'd up babes (sometimes there is a very thin line between being smacked up & E'd up).

However, once addiction kicks in, the social aspect diminishes and all ya wanna do is sit around getting more & more smacked up, 'cos that's all ya need....
