Moss totally Quit on the team, Norv has to take a lot of blame, Kerry and Moss were fine till the team started losing, Then Randy took his foot off the pedal which was a shame


He is lucky he isnt in his prime now, thesedays you get the likes of Locker throwing for almost 400 yards after a few NFL starts.
Passing yards mean nothing now thanks to Goodell.

Every year now in Goodells league some QB will beat Marino's 1984 mark now of 5084 Yards its a joke
If Moss played now, even these undrafted bums like Victor Cruz would be giving him a run for his money regarding " best WR of his generation"
In his prime he was dominant, problem is now in Goodells NFL lots of WR are just as dominant.

his second stint with the vikings im pretty sure he got cut for bitching and moaning

and sure he can bitch and moan all he wants but just saying it wont get him near my fav players list
 
Dan Marino.... Dan 'The Man' dominated defenses... quickest release in the history of the game.. and he was putting up gaudy numbers back in the old days before all the rule changes were made, which have allowed QBs to put up such big #s..

umm you don't remember back in '10 right before he was traded off the vikings flip out on the team's caterer

saying how he wouldn't feed his dog this kind of bullshit, etc

you don't remember him squirting the refs with a water bottle back in the '99 playoffs vs st.louis?

randy moss isn't very likeable but i like him for those reasons

and as far as predicting dolphins to be a playoff team i a few years, well no shit....i think they have a chance this year

there isn't one team out there that would surprise me if they made the playoffs within the next three years

it's how the nfl goes, and why it's awesome

All time - Barry Sanders - He's got to be, not only the all time greatest Running Back, but is in the discussion for all time greatest player to play the game. Especially when you consider how absolutely dominant, one-of-a-kind athlete and what he accomplished on mediocre/bad teams in both college and the NFL. He's also always been an absolute class act.

Even though I'm no where near Wisconsin (or a Green Bay fan for that matter), Brett Favre has to be my favorite all-time football player. The first football jersey I ever got as a Christmas present when I was a kid (5 or 6), was a Green Bay, Brett Favre jersey; hell I even still have it somewhere around here! He was such a great athlete to watch game in and game out. He put smiles on countless numbers of fans faces year after year.

The only thing I'm not a fan of is when he retired, then came out of retirement, then retired again. If you are going to retire, retire! He could have retired at his peak (Green Bay), instead he came back and put on mediocre performances for mediocre teams...not a good way to go out!

As for my current NFL athlete, it has to be RG III. I'm a huge Redskins fan (based on my geographical location). Even though they are not off to a good start, RG III is one HELL of an athlete. He is very versatile at the QB position, being that he is a great pocket passer, and great at passing on the fly. Being able to scramble away when under pressure is a great trait to have - and man talk about speed! I feel like he will have a great season (statistic wise, even if the Redskins do not end up doing so hot), and a great career. I love watching him play.

All time is Kurt Warner. My favorite Kurt Warner stat: he's only played a full 16 game season 3 times (1999, 2001, 2008) and in each of those years he took his team to the Super Bowl.

Current has to be Tom Brady. No one gets fired up like he does.
 
i've been a die hard rams fan for 14 years now and kurt warner never quite gave me the hard-on you'd expect

i guess i sort of just took his talent for granted' having excellent WRs everywhere he played might have helped, but looking back there's no question he's got an accurate touchdown launcher

and wondering if the person who posted that brett farve .gif realizes it says 'brent'

him and his wife were pretty weird, and i'm pretty sure the organization got sick of them and that's why they ultimately cut ties

that and for a brief moment they felt like marc bulger was a better qb
