Misc Who has taken Primidone and other barbs?

I liked barbs a lot in the day. But, they're not the holy grail, man. I quit everything for a long time and missed the golden age of RC's. I really wish I could have experienced Methylone (for one). I can get to actually experience DMT now. I always wondered about that. These are the good old days.

Barbs are kinda like a benzo that tends a lot more toward alcohol without as many dizzy side effects as booze. Nice and all, but nothing super special.

Oh man, not to rub it in but you really missed out on Methylone, my party days as a youngster were fueled off that stuff.

I hope to find some of the faster acting barbs one day, I kinda like phenobarbital but it's a pretty drawn out experience, not much euphoria to speak off although I'm greatful to have it around atm.

We still get the famous or have tons of the most sought after downer aka "ludes" and here by us specifically methaqualone and it's every where. One of the easiest street drugs ro get.

Ive never had barbs or ludes but my friend in Australia has had both. She found a bottle of old ludes that her mom got in Norway back in the day as sleeping pills. They where still good. Shes also gotten nembutal as well and liked those to.

To the original post, I've had butalbital, one of my favorite drugs. The caffeine in there makes it a lot easier to stay awake through the experience, but there's no trouble sleeping. It's a really dirty feeling, but one of the only dirty drugs that I can feel 'doing too much' if you will, but I enjoy the anvil to the head feeling.

There those we sell the crude cooked up shit bit seeing we were the main manufacturers of the drug back I. The day after the ban there was obviously a overflow off the products. The real mandrax 250mg methaqualone and 50mg Diphenhydramine.

I’ve only used 2 barbiturates. Butalbital (combined with codeine, aspirin and caffeine - capsules prescribed for severe menstrual pain) - I would take pretty high doses and was able to still function on it. That combo does seem more effective and pleasant than codeine on its own, at least for me. Running on it would sometimes give me a powerfully boosted runner’s high, which I never experienced on pure opiates alone. Phenobarbital just knocked me out and left me feeling groggy the next day. Useful for insomnia, but I prefer diazepam or short acting benzos.

Why diazepam? In terms of recreational effects, safety, or medical use? Only cause it's boring even in terms of sedatives is all. I understand not wanting to be groggy, but did you try a smaller dose of dosing earlier? Anyways it's subjective so I guess not surprising that people have their preferences.

Purely because of the muscle relaxant effects and because it doesn’t leave me groggy the next day/have any other side effects. I don’t find any downers recreational. But diazepam is the only med that really treats the cause of my pain.
