Who had mild HPPD symptoms and still did drugs?

I've read the Big and Dandy and there's not many people's specific stories about it.

I'm wondering who found out they had mild HPPD and still tried other drugs?

I did shrooms twice and then did MDMA one night and on the come down did more from a different source (silly), but it ended up being an unknown that upon later testing doesn't react with Marquis, so maybe mephedrone, PMA or some BZP?? It's a white clear crystal that tastes salty and smells of sweet coconut?? Had a speedy effect and I could feel my brain buzzing and popping as I was taking more. I regret this night.

Anyway, I've had HPPD symptoms for about 6 weeks now. Had a horrible head pressure for a month but luckily it's gone now. Comes back for a few hours after a beer though so I don't drink any more. Visual symptoms are very mild really, static in the dark moreso in peripheral vision and the odd after image. I try to ignore them and I expect they will go away over time if I do.

I'm just hoping to hear some stories of other people that have perhaps been in the same situation and decided to try another drug? Maybe years later? If so what did you try?

I appreciate my brain chemistry probably changed loads that night and I shouldn't ever do any more substances, but I'm kinda bummed I never got to try the rest.

Using any psychedelic while having HPPD is very irresponsible. You could make it worse forever.

comes on stronger and goes away slowly with frequency of use of weed and psychs. for me it dropped about 50% with a few months off them but now coming back as i used them quite a few times.

pretty much all drugs will increase symptoms while on them

I use psychedelics and other drugs despite my HPPD, I honestly don't think it's going to get much worse anyway. Most psychdelics/dissociatives worsen it for weeks/months but it always tends to revert back to it's normal status after that. If it does get worse I can always get back on benzos anyway which seems to annihilate alot of the symptoms.

At the end of the day, I am going to have a headache because of it regardless if I have done drugs or not, so at this point I don't really care.
