Who else here thinks Alcohol SUCKS

I used to LOVE drinking then found opiates as years passed I fucking HATE drinking unless i have like a drink at a wedding or some family party, as far as going out to get drunk I dont do it at all......i agree paradox i find alot of opiate/opiod users downright loathe drinking....
 
the thing i like about alcohol is it's hard for me to abuse (because I dont like it very much and for other reasons). benzos and opiates are more enjoyable than alcohol, but that's the problem.
 
i think alcohol gives a pretty good buzz but it seems to give me a stomach upset which makes it not worthwhile. the uncomfortable feeling in my stomch lasts much longer than the buzz. if it didn't affect my stomach i would probably enjoy it.
 
Actually, my alcohol abuse only got into full gear after I started craving opiates, I tend to drink to substitute that numb "out of it" feeling.

I guess it takes all kinds, but apparently Sid Vicious had the same problem. Whenever he stopped doing smack he started drinking like a... well not a like fish.. what drinks more than a fish and needs to be waken up before concerts with a cattle prod? =D

since opiates i hardly ever drink.

...such seems to be the case for my further shunning from those i hang out with because i don't want to go hang out and get drunk at a bar...

I am an opiate addict and I love drinking.

Too true. I started getting tired of the drugs id done before I tried opiates though.

I can't stand alcohol, and it's always been that way. Fortunately, I have an unusually high natural tolerance to alcohol (14+ to get anything more than a flushed face) so I can still enjoi the social aspect (chatting up girls while we slam shots) without getting drunk.
 
Alcohol sucks, plain and simple. It's got to be one of the most toxic substances for your body as well. Anything that gives you a hangover the next day where you feel like shit and makes you throw-up. Alcohol also tastes like shit, I can't even stand the taste of beer, let alone hard alcohol. I'll take GHB over Alcohol anyday, at least I can remember shit even on VERY high doses of GHB I never lose my memory. Alcohol fuckin blows.

On very high doses of GHB I'm usually unconscious.
 
I enjoy a drink when Im chillin with a friend at a bar or mabye 1 or 2 beers before I get into the club but I HATE BEING DRUNK! I cant comprehend why some people aim to get totally fucked on alcohol when they go out.

Give me opiates, give me benzos, give me cigerettes, give me ecstasy and to a lesser extent give me yayo if its offered.
 
I dont usually enjoy alcohol unless its used in small amounts in combination with another drug, example=marijuana or benzos.
 
i dont really like alcohol, but im glad its around. it can add to other highs, mainly the downers I do. It's just nice to be able to add to the sedation effects of a drug for a cheap price. BTW, I only drink beer.
 
Alcohol is the ultimate social drug imho, with MDMA and other uppers i feel very dirty the next day, with booze, i tend to only feel seedy for a couple hours.
 
Hangovers are quickly cured and never last for more than a day even when you go really over board, comedowns however can last for about 3/4 days when you get carried away with the furries.
 
Personally I LOVE alcohol. My only problem is that I'm a very amorous drunk, and if I don't get laid when I'm drunk I tend to get into a very angry or sullen mood.

hah. that´s what you think. On alcohol you do the stupidest shit and can't remember most of it. On G, you might even be the same asshole, but you still think it's ok. but thjat's just you.

Didn't William Burroughs do this one time he was kicking junk and he drank so much over the next couple of weeks to cope with the wd's that he started to reek of piss from the pores in his skin?
