Who else here Alcohol SUCKS

Worst fucking drug ever in my books, and the most dangerous drug in my books. My father was an alcoholic, and I feel as though I am turning into one. Even though when I do drink I just binge drink on the weekends, like an allnighter, but I'm so hungover for the whole next day and part of the second day that I can't eat shit after. Alcohol is one of the most toxic substances known to man I believe. Its the only drug I loose my fuckin memory on as well, get smashed and act like an idiot, and its legal. Great society we live in. I got so drunk last Friday I lost my memory, got kicked out of a bar, got in fights with people.

With GHB - THIS NEVER Happens. I ALWAYS remember everything I do while under the influence of GHB, and I never lose my fucking memory and I don't act like a moron. I'm sorry folks, but Alcohol fucking blows. Who agrees?
 
Alcohol is fine in moderation - its a very enjoyable drug IMO.

If its making you lose your memory and get in fights with people then don't get so drunk. Simple.
 
its easy, legal, easily accessible.

mixed with other drugs, can be quite versatile if you know what youre doing. also usually means you dont have to drink as much (if youre mixing with downers) which means no hangovers.
 
Alcohol sucks. No offence, youguys are fucked. Each to his own I guess. If youguys like damaging organs and toxicity, then fine, enjoy your Alcohol.

Just one problem dude.. there is this thing called alcoholism.
And it seem to make every single thing around you completely and utterly worthless after you have started drinking. The only thing worth anything is to cut your throat right off, smash that winebottle in two and pour that sweat poisonous shit right the fuck down to your heart and make your body vibrate of life. For once life has gotten back to you and you are gonna live every, fucking bit of it

And that seem to be a problem to more people than I.
Im not kidding, booze has made my 19 year long life hell..

like really i used to love getting drunk but i've gotten so fucked up on that shit b4 that i was pukin eveeeeeerywhere n stuff. now i can barly stomach 3 shots.. but, to each his own
 
I'm not talking about alcoholism, I'm talking about alcohol. Obviously if you drink excessive amounts then you're going to have serious health problems. But alcohol in moderation is not going to poison you.

If you drink until you puke and pass out, guess what? You're going to feel like crap, and if you do it regularly and for an extended period of time then you're likely to do yourself serious damage. Using any drug to an extreme is likely to have similarly adverse effects. I'm not going to argue for a second that alcohol is harmless - I agree that it's one of the more dangerous drugs available, particularly as it's legal and binge-drinking is socially acceptable in many circles. But the real danger comes in how you use it.

The 'alcohol is evil' attitude seems to be particularly prevalant amongst a) binge-drinking teenagers; and b) people that have only just discovered other drugs. It also seems to be a way for some people to justify their poor judgement - I've known plenty of people who get themselves unbelievably, stupidly drunk then claim it's because 'alcohol's dangerous and bad for you.' No, actually it's just because you drank too much 8)

For the record, alcohol is the only drug that I've ever come close to having a problem with. But that's a problem inherant in me rather than in the substance itself. If I damage my health, it'll be because I drank too much for too long - not because I drank at all. And you can say the same for any drug
 
Alcohol fucked up all my friends. They used to be peaceful stoner idiots who listened to 80's music and laughed at shitty shows, now they are all loser pissheads who go round starting fights breaking shit and generally just being dickheads to everyone.

My family has suffered greatly from alcoholism, so have I for that matter, but this preachy bullshit hysterical anti-alcohol attitude is just as ridiculous as Reefer Madness.

People drink. Simple sentence, but just think about that for a second. They put it to their lips and swallow it. Same as with any other drug, swallow too much and you're fucked.

It is definately my least favourite drug, absolute last resort only!

Can be fun in the right situations, and it's the only (socially acceptable) thing that makes Christmas family gatherings bearable, but it almost always end up with you thinking 'urrrgh, this is so horrible, i want to be able to FOCUS MY EYES!' (and i almost never drink to puking point either)

..it's just very wierd, with most harder drugs, no matter how fucked you are, you know who you are, you're fairly lucid inside your own brain..get really drunk though and you can't do fucking anything..
 
Hardly had any alcohol for years thanks to Hep C. Which is a pity...the price is right, its legal, socially acceptable, easily available etc etc...



and sometimes you just feel like a nice cold beer when its mid-summer, especially in Oz. damn lol

Haha, word. Personally, i love "doing alcohol" with my friends every weekend. We're not violent dumbass drunks, we have fun. Not bothering any people except when one of us gets the idea that he should have a go at some girl.

The important part is to know your limits, and not cross those too frequently. Also, dont whine that beer tastes like crap.
