Who else doesn't like the new pr?

old one was hell of alot better so simple but owell just have to get used to this one
 
Old one was better...its to early to tell tho.. I like how you can thumbs up and thumbs down Rating system but if abused this could become useless...very oversized... is there anway to get more reports on a page?....was Pillreports always connected to enlighten...seems like they are throwing that logo and design all over pillreports now..Marketing scheme for sure? also seems to be a advertisment which i didnt see on old pillreports...I would like to see what others thank..
 
I need to get used to it. They did a good job with it though, even though we had to wait I give them credit for getting up pretty damn fast.
 
For the handful of people who don't like the site so far keep this mind; every week we would have to deal with dozens of people who could not register for the old site, who's account would become corrupted, and who's reports were lost in the broken old database.

The only way to fix this properly was to totally redo the site. 90% of the functionality of the site is exactly the same. The real difference is that now it will work, it will actually function. The remainder of the changes are mostly things users have been asking for for year, as in improvements to help the quality if the reports, and the ability of the mods to maintain it.

This is an open beta and things will keep getting better. In a couple of months you won't even think about the old site.
 
i forgot to also state that not being able to have multiple users on 1 comp will be different because the computer i use is used by everyone in the frat...i guess we all could use my name
 
You can have more than one user on a comp. Just need ot have seperate email addresses. same as it ever was.

(btw this post, and the one above are from johnboy, not mac. i just realised he was still logged in. i am such a noob :))
 
i like it, it will take a while to get used to though.
i really like the "should people be warned about this pill?" section.
overall i think the new layout is great. well done.

More reports on a page would be good. And whats the point of including a photo when it looks like its been taken with a set of beer goggles not a camera?

Def will take some gettin used too. Im not used to it but give it a week an itll be like old times. Im sure there will be manyh questions and cowboy an ruski will have thier hands full for sure. Thanks for doin it guys. Big ups to you.
 
The new site is a lot nicer to look at.

I agree with comments regarding the number of reports on a page. I think the report summaries are a bit too large. Perhaps shrink the field box height a bit?
 
Its good, I like it. In the beginning it wasnt as good but now that reports are starting to go up it looks great.

I like how they added the date posted to the front page too.. that helps.
 
yeah its great, well done! There could be an option to organise the reports the way the users wont them? I mean more reports per page, smaller, if the posters nic is on or off the front page og reports, more user options like deleting own accnts maybe too? Design looks wiked. excelllent work. congrats.
