Whitney:Scars, Burns, Hole in her nose, 11 false teeth, Needle mark, 9 Drugs in her.

Imagine having cravings for something slowly but surely destroys pretty much your entire body, can kill you on withdrawal and is fucking advertised to you everywhere you look and are almost looked down upon if you don't take it.

I watched my grandfather turn from a pastor to very painfully succumbing to alcoholism.

For several years, I had a hardcore stimulant habit (amphetamines/blow) and - even though I could feel my heart beating erratically, my left arm and leg going numb, and my chest in significant pain as well as overdosing twice - I couldn't stop. I'm damaged goods myself.

I've been on Xanax going on 7 years now. In that time, I've had 3 seizures while in withdrawal. I can't feel half of my tongue anymore after nearly biting it off the 2nd time. I've also been in benzo and opiate withdrawal at the same time. That was fun.

its life threatening if a hardcore alcoholic runs out of alcohol.

Studied clinical pharmacology - I know.

Stop whining about not being about to get opiates.....You go through some pain and cravings, get over it.

If you think that's all there is to hardcore opiate addiction then you're exactly what the title of your 2nd blog is: way too trusting, way too impulsive, way too dumb

I have no sympathy or respect for you either

I'm so sad that we can't be friends. I was gonna ask if you wanna be penpals.

As far as respect goes - nobody asked. I know I didn't.

Uhh yeah duh lol no way cocaine made her pass out in a bathtub... it was definitely the Flexeril (strong ass muscle relaxer) Benadryl (OTC sleeping pill) and the mix of benzos.

The coroner reasoned it like this: the heart attack caused her to pass out, and she drowned. What caused the heart attack? He said cocaine.

Could the extremely hot water in conjunction with the coke cause a heart attack? Otherwise that combo doesn't look all that dangerous to me

chronic cocaine use, btw. No overdose was involved. I think this is tripping a few people up.

definitely? from the autopsy: "Death was due to drowning due to effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use. No foul play is suspected. The mode of death is accident." (my emphasis)

to what information do you have access that the la coroner - who performed the autopsy - did not?

another example of your passing off speculation as fact :\

When I die, feel free to count the scars, burn marks, track marks, and drugs in my "system".

I'll have stopped caring about my corporeal form after death.

Everyone goes through suffering. What's sweeping it under the rug going to do for her memory? Nothing. If anything, I have more respect for her life after having read through this.

Really? Yeah. The coke made her fall asleep.

Please. It might have number her from noticing that the water was 150 degrees, but no way its going to make her so retarded that she cant call for help when her heart starts going crazy

Of course they're going to blame it on the cocaine, you think that they are gonna let people start slandering their wonderful benzos? Hell no.

The coke injection sure is not going to help anything, but I dare you to find one person that died in the bathtub, with a room full of people a door away, on cocaine alone.

Then find how many people did the same on benzos/downers.

Compare.

The coroner reasoned it like this: the heart attack caused her to pass out, and she drowned. What caused the heart attack? He said cocaine.

Yeah see, I dont think anyone that has a heart attack is just going to lay down and pass out, unless they're on a shit load of downers at the time.

So when you have a heart attack, you're just going to lay there and not scream, or try and get out of the tub, or make any effort to save yourself?

I think just maybe it was the large cocktail of benzos in her system that might have helped with that.

Lets not even mention that she was doing uppers and downers together, which is likely what gave her the heart attack in the first place.

^ benzos and stimulants would not give you a heart attack. Perhaps benzos withdrawal, but something that lowers heart rate, reduces hypertension is not going to cause a heart attack.

Opiates on the other hand cause labored breathing, which when combined with a stimulant can easily cause a heart attack.

There is absolutely no evidence benzos and stimulants cause a heart attack. Benzos seem to counteract the effects from stims that trigger heart attacks. Benzos relax you, lower your blood pressure. That would do anything but cause a heart attack.

Benzos are perfectly safe with stims. In fact they are a nice combo because they counteract the paranoia, tachycardia, hypertension, &all overall anxious feeling stimulants cause. Benzos + stimulants =/= speedballing. I believe you are confusing benzos with opiates.

Xanax + Dexedrine and valium + meth are lovely combos. Safe too.

the full extent of the text in the report was: "Death was due to drowning due to effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use. No foul play is suspected. The mode of death is accident."

i don't know where you're getting all this other stuff but, yet again, it looks like you're just making stuff up. who said she had a heart attack?

A lot of people in this country (the US) seem to enjoy watching others suffer to distract themselves from their own suffering. It is sad and sickening.

I think that this is very true. People focus on others' suffering in order to distract themselves from the real task at hand: living this life wholeheartedly. Many people are afraid to live wholeheartedly, and the resulting suffering is intense. So they gossip and talk about other people's suffering. That is why there are many rich owners of trashy newspapers.

who said she had a heart attack?

I did.

Wait, she didn't?

Cause of death can't just be atherosclerotic heart disease (AHD) and drowning. Something has to actually incapacitate her. It's like saying someone's cause of death is "cancer". Uninhibited cell division will not by itself kill you; in the same way, AHD must cause some incapacitating physiological event.

Unless I'm missing something.

When I was lying there in the ER hospital,
with hole blown through the middle of my nose,
I started having these dreams of dying. I was free.
Sooner or later though, they gave me Valium.

An official from the LA coroner's office even said...
that's not accurate. you provided the link. go back and click it. it actually says: "an insider at the L.A. County Coroner's office told Us Weekly". an insider and an official are completely different. an insider could be an official but it could also be secretary to whom they paid $1000 for unsubstantiated gossip.

again, the text in the report was: "Death was due to drowning due to effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.".

maybe she didn't have a heart attack (myocardial infarction) - maybe she died of congestive heart failure. maybe this. maybe that.

my point is that people in this thread are throwing around information as if it's fact when they're simply speculating based on limited information. what is the purpose and value of that? i can guess at the former and the latter is, to me, none. is this important? yes, it's very important because hr should be built on facts and speculation and fabrication fly directly in the face of bl's mission.
