Stimulants White Sugar Contaminate.

My friend recently obtained a large quantity of meth (Ounce) which he said was of great quality. But his little sneak of a girlfriend decided to skim a gram off the top to make a little extra money and replace that gram with white sugar in the entire master bag the ounce was contained in. This small amount of sugar has completely tainted pretty much the entire bag. My friend only IV's the product but most of his friends are only interested in smoking the product.

I have been reading all over different sources online to help my mate out but there isn't really a method pertaining to sugar in particular. He may be able to save some of the large shards using tweezers and a quick dunk in a shot glass of acetone just to take off the outside containment coating (I know sugar wont dissolve in acetone but it will work nicely to help it fall off). What is the best method that he can use to wash the remainder down to salvage it.

Welcome to Bluelight.

I would suggest maybe taking a quick glance at the BLUA (user rules). It is against the rules here to use terms like "my dog", "my panda" etc. Not only is it annoying and makes a post very hard to read and comprehend it does absolutely nothing to avoid incrimination...(cops arent that stupid..everyone knows you are referring to yourself!). That being said, I am sure if you will jump back and edit your post you will get some great answers on what to do in your dilemma!

Well it was absolutely no more then 2grams. But it was definitely white sugar cause when approached about it she explained exactly what she used. The humidity here can sometimes cause product to change a little in weight in large amounts.
 
The thing is the craze in Australia is currently smoking it. Happy to lose weight onnit aslong as it doesnt turn into caramel when heated.

He would be able to handle it just if meth wasnt such an expensive and sort after product here. Was well on the way to tripling price onnit now its worthless to 90% of users here.

The qualiity is still out of this world as it was outsourced and not local. Just blows me away what the tiniest amount of sugar can do.

You don't need an advance forum for this question.

Find a solvent that dissolves meth, but not sugar. Then just filter out the meth through something like a coffee filter and the liquid would contain the methamphetamine. If the solvent dissolves sugar instead of meth, then filter and save the solids that do not fall through the filter. Then allow the product to air dry.

So we have decided to use fasteddie's method from this forum topic http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/318209-Purifying-Meth ( POST 8 ) on just a small amount first about 1gram.

Pretty much my understanding is to obtain the basic tools -

100% IPA (Dry)
Product in question
Coffee Filters
Pyrex Glassware

After drying the IPA which I don't believe I will have to do if it is already at 100%.
Use minimal IPA to dissolve the contaminated meth then pour through coffee filter. The meth will dissolve and be left in the liquid below the filter.
Then basically evaporate in well ventilated area until crystals start to form...

I have checked sugar is soluble in IPA but at a slow rate. Would what I have proposed work for removing the sugar (sucrose) contaminate? Or would it essentially just be recrystallizing the product but still containing the sucrose...
