A few months back I was at a party in Missouri. We came across someone who was selling what they claimed to be "white rock opium." Now, this is the same place we found some black tar opium the year prior and so even though we were skeptical as to this being some sort of opium we decided to give it a whirl anyways. The product was almost clear but had a "frosted" look to it, as if it was a broken piece of a frosted glass window. There also appeared to be a few small yellow/green specks of material in the rock. The taste was very piney, in fact, it was almost what you would imagine pinesol would taste like if it was a beverage. the smoke made my lips slightly tingle and a but of a numbing was felt in my mouth only while smoking. This faded almost immediately.
Now I don't believe this is actually Opium. I have never seen or herd of it being prepared in such a way. But, this was definitely an Opiate like high. I have herd that it could be a form of heroin. Although, from my short lived experiences with heroin I would say that it was not the same. I have also hear that it may be a prescription opiate converted into a smokable form. I don't know how true that could be, but I don't have much knowledge with opiates to prove or deny the theory.
Does anyone else have a clue as to what this substance may have actually been. Has anyone else had the opportunity to try any?
