Right, I also went to college. The discussion was brought about by the kid claiming to effectively insufflate morphine, from a regular street connection.
On the subject of a fent analog employing any glacial acetic acid, it makes no sense at all but if you provide a ref I'd love to look at it. Don't worry about the site being down, just provide me with the url and/or a compound name.

Thanks. I already have the paper. Without trying to be a jerk, you misunderstood the paper. On the site being down, the owner said she is locating a new server for her two sites. In the interim you can do two things, you can hit the psychoactive groups and get the entire site downloaded or do it more simply and just hit the archive. All the relevant papers and commentary are neatly archived [www.archive.org]. Type in the url, go back to 2001 [she does not have any earthshattering stuff after that date] and down load at will. Glacial acetic acid is not used in fentanyl synth but I wanted to be fair and look at your source.
The paper is Henderson's, right? He actually qualified the first know fen analogs in 79 in Cali. Good reading though. Aha, not Henderson, Cooper since Cooper's had the part about "Future Drugs of Abuse" in its title...Either way, neither says that. Cooper's is only good for a run down of DEA acknowledged analogs, nothing on schemes, etc. Both are must haves though.

Don't sweat it, the papers are not the easiest things to digest. If you go to the place I pointed and access the last of the 2001 entries you'll see about 5 papers on fen analogs. Take a gander at them and observe the mechanics. Fen itself is an easy 4 step synth [NPP etc]...
