Which would be worse - getting caught JACKING IN or JACKING OFF?

For me, it would be masturbation. That's so personal, & as an intensely private person, I would be mortified to be seen doing so.

I have never shot anything up, but if I were caught doing just that, I would come up with a decent bullshiiter on the fly. Plausible deniability would still be an option, in other words, whereas the former situation would be pretty obvious. (I am female, BTW. One time my Mom found a, um , handcrafted "device" I'd fashioned out of a banana, a sock, & a condom... it had been in the back of a sock drawer for quite awhile, & she found it as she was putting some laundry away. That was really, REALLY embarrassing...and it looked like exactly what it was. The banana had definitely seen better days by the time it was found. Oh, the humanity!)
 
Ummm I've shot up in front of my mom so i wouldn't give a shit.. totally more awkward to get caught jacking it..

I got caught smoking weed at my parents when I was 22 and they flipped their shit, started crying, and had a 2 hour long conversation with me about "smoking dope"

when they found out I was shooting heroin at 23 they shipped me off to rehab for 77 days, then sent me to a clean-living place for another 3 months until I dipped.

they still drug test me because they pay for my bus/subway card ($68 a month, they pay for nothing else) :p
 
jacking in...the stigma attached is so much worse. you might get funny looks and giggles for being caught cock out, but being caught needle in will cause most people to stop associating with you
 
there was a lot more awkwardness when i got caught pants down sticking a needle in my ass than when i was bold enough to shoot up in front of my father.

i dunno how you can compare and say getting caught jerking off is worse. i mean seriously!

but the similarity is that you are getting caught pleasuring yourself, in a zombie-like state chasing a moment of pleasure only you are aware of.

but with the drug thing, theres the stigma. i think if you prefer getting caught shooting up, you must have extremely religious or uptight parents. because whats worse, an awkward American Pie kind of moment everyone will forget about within a week or two at the most, or something that will make your parents cry for the rest of time going out their eyes with worry?

however, looking at the question's wording, technically, if not "worse" to get caught jerking off, it is BETTER to get caught shooting up because it might help you get clean. hehe.
 
Well, in the long run, Mr Denied is probably right, in that getting caught with a needle is going to cause more problems and have long term effects... But I think at the very moment of discover, that initial moment, getting caught with your pants down might be more embarrassing.

I mean if the door to my bedroom opened and someone saw me with the needle, there would be no point in trying to "cover up" or turn red... The moment would be sort of "oh shit..." accompanied by a sinking feeling of knowing what you're going to have to deal with in the week, or months, to come.

But being caught right in the middle of furiously pounding the sausage, and making eye contact with whomever opened that door, has got to be pure terror. There would be the scramble to cover up, and a brief moment of wondering if there was anything you could say to diffuse the situation (like saying "it's not what it looks like, I was cleaning it" or "yup, that part of me is in good working order, let's see here, what did the doctor ask me to do next?" etc).

I mean what if you had just started to nut (I can't believe we live in a world where "nut" became a verb) and some of that Jack Sauce caught your mom in the eye? And what if it got infected and she had to go to the hospital and say "my son came in my eye?"

Shooting heroin, on the other hand, is not. It carries a multitude of risks, including addiction, overdose, and various and sundry injuries/infections/health problems. It would be extremely difficult for any parent to see their child being self-destructive in this manner. Even if one takes all of the proper precautions, the risks of addiction and associated with injecting in general are inherent.

Everybody masturbates. Not everybody even uses drugs at all let alone IV.

It depends on who catches you, the prison officer catching me jacking off in my cell was 10x worse than my parents catching me jacking up in my room.
 
I would say your mum walking in on you shooting into the saphenous vein on your dick would be the worst possible scenario.
