The immense w/d's I've read about when it comes to using suboxone and oxys or percs or any other opiate.

What I am confused about is this: what brings on the precipitated w/d's?

Is it if you take suboxone too soon after your last dose of your opiate of choice?

Is it if you throw in a few of your opiate of choice while taking suboxone?

Is it if you use some of your opiate of choice while suboxone you just won't get much of a buzz, if at all any?

I've been confused about this for a while?

How long after my last use of suboxone is it OK to dip into my opiate of choice?

I was thinking of having a wee party on Tuesday. I wouldn't use my suboxone until after that day.

Anybody know?

Wait until you are withdrawaling from your opiate of choice and then take the suboxone. If you take the suboxone before you start withdrawaling it will knock off all of opiates from the last dose off receptors in your brain sending you into precipitated withdrawal. Don't mix Suboxone with other opiates.
You can start using other opiates once you are withdrawaling again.
