Which should I get Ativan or Valium

Dont wanna fuck myself. Been taking 2-3mgs of klonopin

I want to switch to 4mgs, or hopefully 6 of lorazepam....Some days we need it more that other.......or back to my old valium at a higher dose? Want the less sedating one and I'm thinking lorazepam for pure anxiety....

Ativan. It's the most effective benzo for me by far. Fast acting like xanax, but lasts longer. Just feels better/less than xanax IMO. Tolerance hasn't been a big issue after 4 years. Tried the V's, didn't like them at all, went back to the ativan within days.

The best benzo IMO, helps with nausea, pretty sure that's why it's favored for chemo patients.

I think you should switch to oranges.

The only choice you put in your subject line was "bananas and oranges" so I assume that's what your thread is about.

Of course, if you had put "valium or kpins" in the subject line, other people who might be looking for the same info one day would be able to find it in a search.

But as it is, any good info that comes up in this thread will be basically useless and lost forever since the subject line does NOT contain any keywords that tell what the thread is really about.

No offense, but I wish all the selfish and lazy blue lighters who purposely put up vague thread titles had a testicle ripped off by a rabid dog.

I bet THEN they would be all too happy to post good thread titles, like "balls ripped off by dog, best pain killer to help?"

I think I am going to ask for a week supply of oxazepam....I'm interested in how that would affect me.....it looks interesting. I just know I dont want to be sedated just anxiety ridden during the day.....then at NIGHT thats why I got restoril....errr It takes klonopin FOREVER to kick in tbh I hate this shit.....it almsot makes me feel nauseated....

I don't know where the OP is, but I don't think we get tetrazepam here in the states.

*edit*
actually, I dunno. it is scheduled in the states (CIV)

Ativan, definitely

I don't see the hype on kpins. I took 6mg of wafers tonight and barely feel a thing.

Apples and oranges... I don't like Ativan (lorazepam) yet I like Kpin (clonazepam) a lot.

OK. Clonazepam is by far the least sedating benzo IMO. Xanax is by far the most sedating benzo IMO. Ativan is pure shit, in terms of dosage/short-half life which equals rapid withdrawal syndrome. Diazepam, well, that's all sweet and well for getting of the benzo's but isn't recommended to take on a day to day basis bro.

My advice to you, is that, if you wish to have the least sedating benzo, then IMO try out Libirum.

^ where do you get the idea that valium and ativan are "weak, and shit"?

in terms of potency yeah they are the weakest but have u ever done a HIGH dosage of Ativan? or a dosage equivalent to that of a xanax bar? actually, do you have any facts at all to back up that claim u just made

I find clonazepam to be one of the most superior benzo's great HL good for anxiety, not necessary to dose more than 2wice a day. has slight euphoria i;m on
1 mg a day and it beats ativan lorazepam and xanax because HL is important for me, and i feel it works almost as fast as xanax and loraz... i find diazepam to work fast but oxazepam takes forever. I'd dose one time a day sometimes. the shorter action of xanax and loraz felt like i could abuse them more because my anxiety would come on in the afternoon and it take more at night. I'll be getting a scrip of 30 hypnodorm soon,,, the perfect combination, clonaz in ter day and flunitrazepam at night

Loraz is a potent benzodiazapine and soi is diazepam,,, considering it's amazing HL, It is still one of my favourite benzo's no matter what tolerance i have i can still put 50mg of valium in a cup of tea and start my day with a benzo buzz. I had 25 temazepam's 10mg and felt less than 50mg of valium, i hadn't had temaze for over a year, props for diaz clonaz flunitraz

Yeah your Dr must get asked for that all the time if he's willing to give you anything you ask for. As far as I knew/cared there were only four common benzos prior to coming to BL. Never heard of any of these other ones. Not even on the benzo wd boards. Ignorance can be bliss sometimes. Once Ive finished my taper, I'd be fine never having heard about any of them. Good for a few weeks or sporadic use, being dependent, they're life sucking shyt. IMO

I think klonopin may be my best bet after all...... lorazepam seems to be a LOT more addicting than xanax from what i've been reading, and have a lot of shitty possible side effects in the long run....

What makes you think that. Having taken both, I was far more worried about the potential dependence to xanax over loraz. Theres always been a cleaner type of head feeling on it when compared to the x's.. everyone tolerates them different so w.e I think your right, if the clono has been working well then why screw around. Never took that so I can't say how it compares, I know it has a longer duration, curious if it's similar to the loraz in terms of nausea relief.

No I dont think it is to be honest. I dropped my methadone dose and it was only by 5 mgs and now that I stabilized or am I get nausteated towards the night but not to bad. The best thing for nausea is Ondsatron.....I fucking love that if I feel nauseated. It works fast and very well......I am just curious to try and see if loraz will act any better or worse, and and maybe a few days to xanax xr scripts? I think a weeks worth of both could help me make up my mind it just feels like klonopin takes like an hour to kick in fully. When I need relief I NEED it then. Thats how I am with benzos for the most part.

People hate on ativan too much it's a great med for quickly squashing anxiety, not to mention sublingual speeds it up. Yeah ask the Dr to do a two week trial to see which one works the best for you. Your Dr doesn't handle your mdone if I read it correctly, that makes life a little easier. My Dr had perscribed my ORT, still willing to work with me, benzos changes can raise an eyebrow, doesn't bat an eye when it comes to stims. weird.

Im prescibed Oxazepam and it isn't sedating but works pretty good on anxiety.

I was on 150mg of Oxazepam per day, 50mg x3. Now im down to 40mg/day and it works good. Calms me down and helps me go to sleep and night.
I don't want to be zombified by bensos like i used to be.

Lorazepam i never liked, it did nothing for my anxiety.
