I realize that Israel is not in Europe or Africa, but this forum seemed like the most logical place to post my question.

SWIM is going to be visiting Israel (Tel Aviv, Jeruselem, and Haifa) in a few months, and he was wondering what their policies are on offering opiates/opioids over the counter in pharamacies.

SWIM's preferences would be oxycontin (OP's preferably, but roxy's would be fine), hydrocodone (with little to no acetaminophen), or morphine, but he is not picky.

I have been unable to find this information online. Has anyone been to Israel enough to understand which pills are available OTC?

Thank you in advance.

I've been in Israel for almost two years :P
Wasn't looking for opioids, but I believe the answer is 'none of them'. Maybe codeine/aceminophen. Still, in Tel Aviv drugs are quite commonplace, so you might find what you're looking for if you resort to the black market... but I choose to avoid possible troubles in a country of which I do not know the language or the laws.

I think "SWIM" should stay away from holidays abroad if he can't last a few weeks without drugs.

Holidays abroad are no good....for opiate addicts.... think of all the skag you could buy with that $$$$ spent on the holiday
