which of these two different highs best describe your cocaine buzz?

Note: This thread is over 3 years old now, but I thought I'd bring it back just to see if anything has changed in quality over the last 3 years. Simply pick up where it left off last time around. The original text is below:



In an effort to see just how bad the quality of cocaine has become inside of the U.S., I have decided to make a kind of impromptu poll, considering that polls aren't available on this site. I would just like to see how widespread this bad coke has become and what general locals it's located in.

I will outline two different types of highs, labled A and B. Please be honest when answering this poll, considering it really won't be valid unless you do. Just for the record, the correct answer is obviously A, but I feel that B is becoming the prodomenent type of coke here in the U.S.

Now, if your informed on the subject of cocaine, you already know what the high is "suppose" to be like, but I would say that since about 1990, the quality has taken a serious turn for the worse. So, if you use to do the "real deal" and now it's gone, please answer with your latest experiences with the drug and not those from 10 years ago.


Now according to the Freud (a frequent coke enthusiast) and the many books published on the subject of cocaine, the effects of cocaine should not vary on its user, unlike many other drugs, cocaine's effects are generally the same for each and every user. I will verify this fact if I have to, but please don't ask me to go digging up info just to prove something I already know.

Now for the record, "real" cocaine will take effect on it's user in about 2-3 minutes. A sensation of energy and euphoria will begin to mount in the body. Within 5 minutes the full stimulation manifests itself and sensory perceptions are heightened. The mind becomes sharper, the body surges with energy and a strong sense of sexuality and lessened inhibitions. There is sense that everything in the world is great regardless of ones personal situation at the time (makes bad times, good). One is likely to become quite talkative, but, unlike marijuana, the conversation does not tend towards giddiness and absurdity. Cocaine is a very extroverted drug. Under it's influence, conversation is likely to be open and realistic. This is not to say that cocaine makes a person feel serious. Cocaine is most definitely a fun drug. It does not produce hullucinations or distortions of reality. Heartbeat will actually decrease under the influence of cocaine at first, only to pick up slightly with moderate use. The peak of stimulation usually lasts between 20-30 minutes, but residual stimulation may continue for a little while longer. When one comes down from a couple lines, there is no "crash" (sudden exhaustion or depression), or craving to do more as with the amphetamine drugs. One may wish to take some more, but there is no feinding to do so, and if one does not indulge again at this time, he is quite content with having had a good time. There is no need for downers, sedatives or alcohol while using the drug or for the come down as it is gentle and the user will fall asleep within a reasonable time.

Now I have rarely seen this type of cocaine within U.S. soil since the early 90's. Now my frequent trips to Costa Rica will quickly remind me that this type of cocaine still exists, but for the most part, once it hits Mexico, it's gone!

Okay so for the poll, please answer which type of buzz best fits the high you obtain from your cocaine and what general part of the country you live in. Now when I say general, I mean midwest, southwest, SoCal, NYC, or wherever.

Type A cocaine after more than 2 hours of use:

extremely euphoric
excessively talkative
feeling of intense clarity
immediate anti-depressant
feeling of impowerment
very strong sexual desire
enhanced creativity
warm body rush
openess to others
comparible to the ecstacy "plateau"
little "crash"
little "feinding"
nothing really negative at all


Type B cocaine after more than 2 hours of use:

untalkative
difficulty putting sentences together
amped out
edgy
uncomfortable
geeked out
heart racing
paranoid
lack of sexual desire
feinding
wish you'd never have done that first line!


Now one of these two types of buzz fits your coke high better than the other. Remember, you must be honest and not answer how you think your suppose to feel. And it's also very important that you relate this buzz to how you feel after at least 2 hours of use, and not just the first 20 minutes. This is very important to the survey.

So, is it A or is it B?

B is all over the place. But within the last 2 years i've been lucky to have A 3 different times. I dont even do coke often. A few times a year. I would do it more often is A was more prevelant...as most dealers wont let you sample their coke in my experience.

B is so prevelant. Last time i did B, maybe 4 months ago, each line clogged up my sinuses like a i had a REALLY bad cold...a few minutes after each line, i would vomit. I didnt even finish a gram of this shit and i was already blowing blood boogers. It did have coke in it...but it was SO shitty.

It's all about going to the right person. As all 3 times i had A, i got it from a major cokehead that had money and the right hookups. A never clogs my nose up, doesnt make me vomit, no harsh comedown...so euphoric it sometimes makes me want to lay down with my eyes closed, just taking it all in.

However after binging for the night on "A", i did experience some hallucinations...really animated , but nicely drawn horses/mustangs running about with animated smoke lingering around them...some other minor visuals like faces...but they would come and go, and werent like sticking out at me as to scare me....

The whole "hallucination" thing could very well be the result of a person's brain chem though, and their synergistic reaction with the coke and its MILD cuts...from A.

A even feels good going up the nose...like sugar coated diamonds from god. Just melts and absorbs so naturally and easily up in the nose.

B has a hard time even absorbing, clogs easily, overall shitty shit shit.

A would pretty much instantly melt/dissolve when you touched it with your fingers.

Tried making crack out of B, and out of half a gram, the TINIEST little bit of base was formed...so small it couldnt really do anything to me.

Good coke is everywhere, you just have to know the right people.

Summary: overall B is more prevalent (I assume, as i dont go out looking for yip really, or do it that much. Though i would if i could always get A) Thanks to your purification post, A wont be a problem anymore.

I'll answer anything else if you ask more questions.
 
We get "A" in Miami, no doubt. no bullshit. no dicksizing. fresh off the boat. [unless you buy from street level dealers who cut their shit, but even in the ghetto you still get decent coke]
 
I get type "A" for a long time now in LA, but i've had type "B" in the past. It just depends on your connection(s) and your location. i'm in the drug capitol of the world, Los Angeles.

We have everything you want, but you need to be connected to get the good "stuff". It's type "A" or nothing for me among other recreational goodies. no one dares to scam me in my "home".
 
I've had both, but I always get "A" from my dealer. The other people that sell it around here (that I've bought off of) were all "B" type highs that's why we always stick to the same guy. I always get geeked on the comedown if we've done a lot though.

Like AznRaver - It's A or nothing for me. I won't buy from anyone except my guy UNLESS a friend tries my stuff and says he gets better stuff which then I'm willing to try his. Only a few people have said they can get better stuff. Needless to say it took us a long time and good amount of shitty "B" coke to find our guy.
 
Until recently all of the cocaine that I've gotten in the past 10 years has been B(some even "C" that's how bad it was), but things have changed recently for the better. I had almost forgotten what "A" feels like. The key difference that I've noticed is the sexuality as pect of the good shit. It makes for absolutely amazing sex with no difficulties in obtaining and maintaining an erection. It's more expensive but I tend to be able to keep it around because it doesn't cause the fiending form more and the edgy feeling that makes you stay up all night doing lines that just add to the cracked out paranoid feeling.

A couple of years ago I had some of the terrible "B" class coke that I couldn't even stand to snort so I decided that I would base it up. I cooked up about a 1/16 and got a tiny rock, well actually it was a pebble.

I hope this new hook-up lasts, but they never do. I don't think I can bear to go back to the days of "B" class coke. I would actually get some and do the Acetone/Chloroform wash but based on what happened with it when I tried to rock it up, a ball would probably yield about 1/2g of actual coke. That just doesn't seem worth it.

i would have to say around my parts (fayetteville, NC) there is mostly b coke, but about 1-1 1/2yrs ago all we used to get was A grade coke that we bought from the dealer before he cut it, it was coming from the orlando area.
On saint pattys day i did a line with my freinds mom and thats the best shit ive done in a long time, coke has gone to shit i barely do it anymore, only if its free.;)
 
More often B then A I live in the North east coast of america. When I went on vacation to Jamaica I bought some. I've never been able to find blow that felt that great.
 
I'm in Southeast Michigan, and, believe it or not, I get a lot more A than B. My coke nights usually consist of me and maybe 3 friends sitting up taking lines all night chatting our heads off. Paranoia is never an issue, but I can say with certainty that an increased sexual appetite is never there.
 
Well the best coke I was getting during my experiance with it was definitely what you guys would call B. The high was defninitely great, but shit, the comedown was the worst feeling of my life.
 
I would think the "no fiending" would be up to the person when you consider that crack, which couldn't really contain anything active other than coke makes you fiend.
 
le junk, as you know, mostly b but there are times that the a type does find its beautiful self up my hungry nostrils....damn, the difference is so apparent, and unlike other posts that you have posted, I am surprised to see mucho support of your theory.

In any case, once you have tried A, you know what B (and even C) level cocaines are like...

only a few tines have i had A, only about two times B.
however the coke in the netherlands mostly sucks. i'm not a regular cocaine user since i don't appreciate the price/pleasure rate over here. shooting it is ok though.. overall i would say that dutch cocaine sucks.. the weed and speed are better.
 
Le Junk this is becoming something of an obsession for you. Have you developed a tic yet? You'll have OCD and Tourette's before you know it. Think about something else for god's sake.
 
B - Southern Cali....ive had A a few times. thew last 2 times i got some coke (free). they were both type B. after i did it i was like man i wish i hadnt, lol. but yea i have had some A quality shit. although most of it seems to be B
