Hey guys just wanted to know which is more likely to hinder the effects of Strattera between Guanfacine and a low to non- sedating antipsychotic? Guanfacine is a medication for hyperactivity which is solely meant to help people sit still. it can also be used for high blood pressure. Any help would be greatly appreciated everyone!!!! I really need to know because I have terrible ADHD and anxiety as well and I'm still working on getting both figured out.

"Guanfacine is also used in conjunction with stimulants to augment therapeutic actions, counter side effects, reduce rebound, and when taken at night, to induce sleep"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guanfacine

they're both going to hinder the effects, but to my knowledge i would have to say the Guanfacine would have a lesser effect on the Strattera as opposed to an antipsychotic (considering ((again to my knowledge)) that the majority of antipsychotics are dopamine antagonists.
