for me it's a close call between 'wall street' and 'the doors'.

i went with the doors because, for me, it seemed to capture the zeitgeist of that time so well. the casting was pretty much great across the board.

if wall street had (the great) crispin glover as andy warhol in it, it might have got my vote

Oh, man, this was a tough choice as I most definitely believe & know that Oliver Stone's such a genius, and several of these flms are favourites of mine. Natural Born Killers came to my mind immediately, first, so I voted this film, but Platoon and Wall Street were also utterly phenomenal. But I'll never forget the first time I saw Natural Born Killers, in the theater, and I already had a thing for Juliette Lewis and knew this was a screenplay co-written by Quentin Tarantino - anyway, it blew me away and remains one of my top 20 favourite films of all. I love movies, so this is why I've got a 20-quantity list for Ultimate Best Snowblood Favourite Films Ever. Most people have like, Top Ten or Top Five. I'm not stingy, I got too much love.


I am very much looking forward to Stone's Pablo Escobar & George le Shrub biopics; hadn't heard much buzz on these projects before.

Another director i'm not particularly fond of. Yeah, Stone is interesting, but I don't think he's a very good director. The work of his I appreciate the most is his screenplay for Scarface, a movie which is just outside my top 10 of all time.

My vote was between Platoon, JFK, and Wall Street. Platoon it is.

Oliver Stone is really hit and miss with me. And he hits only about 25% of the time. I was torn between Platoon and Any Given Sunday.
I went with Any Given Sunday. I'm weird like that.

Natural Born Killers was self-indulgent nonsense. Born on The Fourth of July... had Tom Cruise in it (fail). JFK was a favourite of mine, but it's really been tarnished over the years.

He's done two great movies: Platoon and Wall Street. I voted for the latter.
