I hear ya. I do my best playing with my feet firmly on the ground. I don't dry/fly vehicles unless I'm the only teammate left to transport the objective guy and only if it's absolutely necessary and I've got half my team screaming at me or trying to betray me cause I refuse to. I usually just let the poor guy walk.
Objective games are my favorite but I couldn't care at all if we lose, win or tie. No way in hell I'm gonna jump in a mongoose to go pick the flag guy up. Fuck him. He rushed the flag so he can "rush" it home. I'm a slayer and only a slayer. I know that's weird that I love objective games but that's because there's no kill limit, and I'm all about my K/D ratio anyway. Hell, just yesterday on BTB in Reach I went 62/7 on territories. That's just not possible in team slayer.
I'm kinda the opposite with you regarding H3 vehicles in slayer. I played very few H3 so I didn't have huge problems with that. Plus I can hold my own pretty well anyway
The only vehicle I liked was the elephant.
