K I got 2 simple questions.

What is your favourite shpongle song to listen to while on DMT and why? Im asking this because that will be my choice of music(shpongle, maybe not your fav song) for my first DMT trip and shpngle hss never let me down while on other psychedelics especially acid. Also if you can, throw in your favourite non-shpongle song for DMT.

Also for other psychedelics what are your favourite shpongle songs to listen to while on "......." psychedelic and also throw in your favourite tripping songs that arent shpongle.

I like shpongle so much because its not exactly psytrance, I dont know what the genre is called but it is amazing music tripping or not. So if you would be so kind as to give me some idea's, suggestions and maybe pointers and it would be much appreciated.

Im really interested to hear some replies from this one.

Mods please dont close this thread. While I realize there have been similar threads, there are none that ask the same questions so please, pretty please keep it open :)

Duh, Divine Moments of Truth. :)

Actually, I haven't tried DMT yet, but I love Shpongle. For psychedelic ambient tripping music, I'd say Carbon Based Lifeforms is excellent as well. Very subtle and low-key, so probably good for DMT tripping. But it fucks with your mind in a subtle way, especially if you've listened to it before while high. After tripping on mushrooms listening to CBL's Hydroponic Garden, I will forever associate certain the shimmery noises on that album with the sound that the ceiling makes as it twists around itself, lol.

My favorite song for DMT is either silence or the chirping of the birds, Shpongle is a little overwhelming to me alot of the time.

Star Shpongled Banner, the "Que Terror" part is so cathartic.

I still haven't tried dmt but am anxiously awaiting some aya ingredients coming in soon. as far as shpongle I don't know what that is do I can't comment on it.

I heard music is not very good on DMT, like salvia.

Now...shpongle on LSD is amazing. =D

When I smoke DMT I like to be in darkness and silence. Any audiovisual stimuli from the physical world is just a distraction.

The music of the hyperspace is more beautiful anyway.

"new way to say hoooray" - Sphongle

I once was 2 hits deep into smoking when the Terrence quote comes in and says "and you take a third deep toke" well that convinced me to go for one more, then I dropped the pipe and was shot into????!?!??????!?!????????????<3<3<3

Oh man, this summer at Rothbury-- dancing in the forest to shpongle, candyflipping and smoking deamsters...the trees melting into interdimensional vortexes of light...seeing all the dancers around me manifest as cosmic elves....the beat of the music carrying me to another realm. <3 <3 One of the best moments of my life, man. <3 :D <3

Agreed. I find music can be intrusive and too "real". That said, ambient music works well for adding to the hallucinations- esp. Lustmord :)

Shpongle is a drug of its own!

However great the music though, I still think its best to smoke dmt and sit in silent darkness. If however, complete silence is a problem, then music is always good to drowned out all of the outside annoyances.

i always listen to shpongle when i take mushrooms.

cant really pick single tracks, but....

divine moments of truth and as the day turned to night

dmt trips dont last that long, and you are not really aware of music or anything for the matter while your in space. but shpongle only has 1 rival in my eyes, as far as 'worldly' music goes>> the peaking goddess album: organika. careful it brutally changes musical perspective

I also prefer silence when smoking DMT for the most part. Music doesn't really blend well with the experience IMO and actually seems to ground me if I try to pay attention to it making it harder to go into a trance.
