This is correct. To compare further on MDMA and MDA, MDA can have a larger dose-dependent length of effects (so a large dose can be 8 to 12 hours in duration, and a smaller dose 3-4 hours in duration) whereas for MDMA, the duration will range 3-4 hours no matter what. These are for oral doses only.
 
^MDA is also much more psychedelic than MDMA. This is true for all substituted phens, n-alkyl groups kill 5ht2a agonism...

Wait, weren't we talking about cardiotoxicity?
