Which hotel room should I choose in Waikiki?

We have accumulated enough suggests stay at numerous hotels for 3 nights in May in waikiki. Below are a few of our choices: Ocean living room at Resortquest Waikiki Beach hotel, oceanfront at Park Shore, or possibly a moderate room-(no view) with the Outrigger Reef or even the same with the Hyatt and Outrigger waikiki. We'd like to have a view because it is so nice to possess a cocktail late in the afternoon and check out the ocean, even though the resortquest and park shore look like they're just a little lower end vs another hotels i mentioned.. Probably won't stay at the Outrigger Waikiki because the beach in front of that hotel is a mob scene and their moderate rooms haven't received the best reviews (even though Duke's is fun and that we like the Hula Grill also). We like the Outrigger Reef because it is near to the Halekulani but it looks like a waste to be there at a room using a look at a wall. Any feedback around the above hotels or advice could be greatly appreciated.
